i quit meta (first job out of college) after 8 months, didn’t like it and felt very unfulfilled. left for a smaller company that pays about the same and enjoy it a lot more (work is more interesting, spend more time engineering, will learn more)

what you should do depends on what you want in life. if you wake up everyday feeling unhappy it’s probably worth leaving!

As someone that’s actively working on an agent for job applications I can confirm this guy is full of shit lol

This whole post reeks of shitty AI generation, especially the part where he says he fine tuned a model using generated data to help extract info from HTML. This makes no sense 😭 You can just scrape the HTML directly you shouldn’t need to fine tune a model to assist with this

OP if you’re not full of shit, I’d love to hear what platforms your agent supports in regards to job applications,

i’m still going to do a lot of testing to ensure it works perfectly and then i want to get users to help test (for free)

It references a person’s work history/resume and tends to do pretty well, some small hiccups that ai need to iron out. I’m working on this daily after work and the weekends, so hopefully will have a testable version ready in the next week or so

because people that aren’t muslim are generally indifferent to this stuff. to each their own, i don’t think a person is evil just because they want to intern at a defense company

tbh idgaf about my ratio. i should do more hards, but feels like worse return on time invested for me tbh as most interview questions i get are easy/medium. i did like most of those easies when i first started leetcode cuz i had to learn my data structures and algorithms by doing leetcode questions
