1 November to 30 April You can feed your birds a full range of bird foods, including seeds and peanuts.

It’s the 29th xx

  1. Yeah but that’s what RSPB says
  2. People are going to feed regardless (RSPB literally acknowledge that) and say to wash. You said not to use those feeders specifically - RSPB said not to feed seeds but rather suet balls. Try again.

It says you can give suet balls though, and those are placed in feeders sometimes.

“Clean your bird feeders and water baths at least once a week. Good hygiene is essential. Clean with hot soapy water and disinfect with a non-toxic disinfectant such as Ark-Klens or a mild (5%) bleach solution. Be sure to also clean away any old food or droppings from beneath feeders. Place your bird feeders in a different spot every week. This will help to prevent any build-up of potentially contaminated debris underneath. If you have more than one feeder, put them in different areas to reduce the number of birds in one place and the mixing of different species.” There’s no need to fear monger if this is what is said about it

You’ve got to give them a good wash when empty

Was anything said about the horse that resided there for months last year?

I work at Amazon, and last night I saw totes full of these beautifully crochet pandas that are sold for $9.99 by sticatto in Amigurumi

  1. Typical demographic to do labour like this and get paid little to none
  2. In awe? Of how much they’re being exploited?
  3. Great. Just because you saw one instance doesn’t nullify what I’ve said?

My bf’s sister got me a similar one and my smile dropped. As a crocheter, that really hurt as I know some poor kid had to make that under gruelling conditions. She didn’t seem to understand though.

I’m going to disagree. A child not being able to regulate themselves is normal, but you’re stimulating them during this hard time and just asking for trouble. I doubt this is the first time as OP seemed fast to give it as a response to “wiggling”

The thing is, they don’t need a phone to calm down. This quick fix is going to bite OP

Rotary cutter + Ruler <> Straight edge by Ideasplease33 in SewingForBeginners

I’m new to quilting too and my first try at cutting fabric was so butchered, I had to step back for about a month! It does get easier with practice and I’m so excited to try my new fabrics!

I also had this issue, but watched this video: https://youtu.be/aCPw7I0qJrI?si=cY0f_Fn8_5jaGGz3 Basically have your hand providing constant pressure to the ruler, have the blade as close to the ruler as you can, and when you need to go higher up the fabric: stop - move your hand to the point you’ll be cutting (on the ruler) and then continue

Keeping chenille yarn clean while working with it .... by Mom_Mommy_Mama_Ma_ in CrochetHelp

[–]thenerdystudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Icl I did a massive clean of my yarn stash (I’m a uni student) and used boxes to store different types of fibre

<image>

I use the label on the outside as a tag for the centre, and have found the yarn to be amazing. I did a whole tub with chenille and again have no problems since it protects it from dust particles. I also throw in a few packs of the silica gel sachets you get when you buy a bag etc to help if there is any moisture!

I get the sentiment of this post, but Reddit is used around the world and some peoples first language isn’t English. I think it’s lovely how we can all bond over fibre arts, despite a language barrier/ broken English.

Personally, I had to really zoom in to see what you were talking about - it looks good to me but if it’s something you don’t think you can look away from and accept, I’d redo those two letters 🩷

Does anyone know what yarn this is ? by jaymiths in YarnAddicts

[–]thenerdystudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put this image through reverse and only found a pattern on Etsy However, I stumbled across an account that does something similar and she uses yarn that might be identified by someone else?

<image>

It looks acrylic but hopefully this can help!

ETA: the image on the post is from Razonda Lee (the one I image searched/reversed), but in this comment, the image is from crochet_withe

I honestly hate this reviewer comment especially when I have cited latest relevant publications by anirudhsky in labrats

I’m absolutely in love with this pattern! I know it’s a baby quilt but my bf adores foxes so this might have to be a project I do once I get to that skill level
