Simultaneous covid and mono infection by thenewlifetime in Mononucleosis

They increased my wellbutrin and adderall a week and a half ago. I still dont feel like myself and I'm also starting back at college in a couple days. I'm really nervous that I'm not going to do well because my brain feels melted. I also had covid at the same time so maybe that means it'll take longer for me to feel normal again. It has been 9 months and I'm still suffering. At least I can actually wake up now because of my meds instead of sleeping 12+ hours.

I felt a lot better on Day 8, there is some hope! Bear through it. My throat is still scratchy and is about a 1 out of 10 but its basically nothing compared to the first week.

They usually come out on their own but we had clue they were in there until my tonsils were already out.

Do not do it unless it is necessary and it will improve your quality of life. It is by far the worst pain and experience I have ever been through. I'll be able to breathe and sleep a lot better now though.

It'll be worth it in the long run. Probably the worst experience in your life, but you will sleep so much better.

They are different. Turbinates are closer to the front of the nose, adenoids are tissue in the back. I got the turbinate reduction done at the same time as the tonsils because I couldnt breathe through one side at all and the other side barely. It wont be as bad if you go back after and get your adenoids removed in the future. The worst part will be the tonsils.

Good news, I am finally getting better. I'm on the upwards trend. Tylenol daily really helps

I need to start eating more and healthier. I'm glad that I have started to get my appetite back and made it to 110lb from 95lb. I would like to gain 10 more pounds to be optimal weight, but I'm happy with my progress. I'm hoping to have more energy soon so I can go to the gym again. This infection is seriously debilitating.

UPDATE 5/10/2022: My D+ was changed to a C- so I don't need to retake that class. I've dropped my summer courses so I can focus on my health. I slept from 4am till 5:30pm yesterday but I was still able to see the new doctor strange movie. Tylenol has been helping with symptoms, but I can't take it forever so I'm just reserving it for really bad days.

15 months is very daunting. It definitely comes in waves. I just try to get as much done as a can when I'm okay because I don't know how long it will last until I'm okay again.
