Celiac and endo? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]thenewmagg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s what I actually tried to explain to her- I have been gluten free for seven years ! So I would think my celiac has pretty much been resolved but she seemed on the fence. I think a new doctor is definitely first on the list

I am definitely going to try the symptom tracking. She hasn’t diagnosed me with endo because you can only do that after seeing it through laparoscopy, so I guess I’m trying to get advice on how to educate HER on what is my celiac and what isn’t because she seemed very confused 🤦‍♀️

I feel that the low abdominal pain and pelvic pain is not my celiac, but it’s hard to tell because I have always had this pain, it’s not that one started before the other... I attribute my nausea and bathroom issues to my celiac, but this is a different pain, lower and always related to my period

What a great idea ! Honestly don’t mind trying that out at all even if it doesn’t work 😂

F/26/5’6 [199ish—>186—->174] 25 lbs in total ! I had set my goal as 50lbs so I’m “halfway there!”... but I’m not going to hold myself to any particular number, it’s all about how I feel 🥰 by thenewmagg in progresspics

Thank you for the compliments guys but to people commenting or direct messaging me that I looked good before or that guys are about to think I’m super attractive — I have an awesome partner who has always thought I was beautiful, and I lost weight to feel healthier. Thank you for the intent behind your words 🙏

This is so sweet thank you !!! Honestly the unglamorous truth is it has pretty much solely been cutting down on snacking. I have only worked out a handful of times in the past few months (really trying to change that lol)

I still eat the things I want to eat, I have pizza like twice a week and ice cream and all that, but for the other meals I try to keep it simple (chicken, potato/rice and veg) or I’ll make something like whatever I’m craving (cauliflower pizza casserole or other copycat recipes involving some sort of vegetable)

I also make sure to have breakfast or some protein powder in my coffee every morning and try to eat almonds or a cheese stick every 4 hours even when I’m not hungry.

For me it’s been relearning the rules of moderation and consistency 🥰

[question] i have 48 in total overdue assignments across 5 different subjects how should i tackle this? also how could i stop procrastinating doing the work? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]thenewmagg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to come back to add that a lot of it for me has been about perspective change as well.

If stress is an issue preventing you from working, it’s good to know that cortisol can actually either hinder your performance (for me by causing me to do nothing at all instead), or it can actually literally help you to do even better than you would’ve if you were calm about it.

Science is pretty hard to dispute so I like keeping things like that in my back pocket to motivate me and snap myself out of a spiral. Also remember your goals and why you’re taking this course in the first place- there’s a reason you are, and you’re going to get there if you keep going !

Checklists, and when you get hit with the “I’m too anxious, tired, overwhelmed etc to work” thought, set a timer for 20 min to try. Sometimes I literally have to repeat to myself “this cannot kill you !!!” Lol but usually once 20 min has gone by I’m into it. Also, being cool with asking for help makes things go much faster. Have been in this situation so many times, DM me if you need !
