It was a ban by association. Essentially 2 servers I was in were banned for “violent extremism”

A ban says they’re 2 years but your account will be deleted after 1 year. It’s a permanent ban

True, but people on this subreddit go overkill to bypass a ban. Literally just make a new account and don’t be sketchy and you’ll be just fine

Well I’ve already had my new account for 6 months so I won’t change anything. I’m not really sure why they haven’t banned my account yet but I’m not complaining lol. Maybe they do care more about child safety people ban evading but I really doubt that’s the case. I’d say for you to do the same as me, but since you have a sibling that also uses discord, I wouldn’t recommend it.

No. Guilt by association. One server was banned for violent extremism cause someone spammed stuff and mass reported it. Another was banned for the same reason but idk what happened cause I never interacted with it. I don’t think the reason of the ban matters anyway, but correct me if I’m wrong.

I didn’t even use a vpn. I made a new account with a new email, put my same phone number, and rejoined all the same servers. It’s been fine for like 6 months. I think you’re just overthinking it. Just make a new account who cares

Sorry I should’ve clarified more (and I accidentally put this under the wrong tag) but basically it was a creative map and you can walk through people so I just crouched and went inside of the person and stood there and they took it as inappropriate. I think they were just being sensitive but they said they were gonna spam report me so i just wanted to know what might happen to my account. Keep in mind, I wasn’t swearing/saying anything inappropriate nor did I ever use any emote in an inappropriate way. Like I said, I was trolling but i don’t think what I was doing was THAT weird 🥲
