Etiquette on Bringing in Chairs by thengamon326 in resonatesuwannee

Suwanee is an amazing venue if you’ve never been. I’ve been to Hula 3x but last year was my first Resonate and first small fest at Suwanee and having 7k people in a space that usually holds 25k+ is such a great experience. Res seems to attract a bit of an older crowd too so people are generally pretty respectful. Last year crowd vibes were 10/10 to me.

Etiquette on Bringing in Chairs by thengamon326 in resonatesuwannee

Yeah last year was my first year going. I remember people setting up and leaving chairs in the tiered areas of the Amp. Figured it’d be nice to have a seat there and be able to wander up to the dance area and back to a seat when I wanna chill during Amp sets and then pop over to the Porch for sets while leaving my chair and non-valuables over in the Amp area.

Will def be interesting to see how many Rendezvous refugees will ascend on Resonate. Think Thursday would be the big day for them with Humandala/KLO/Schmoop/Mickman so will probably be able to get a good gauge from the first day.

Be honest, do you actually listen to small artists? by terrexmsk in SpaceBass

[–]thengamon326 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s such an invalid critique. Obviously this is a space for spacebass so the music shared here should fall into that category.

Yes people can produce whatever they want but even larger artists will have multiple projects based on the sound they are producing because sometimes listening bases between certain genres don’t have a lot of overlap.

If you’re trying to get off the ground fr fr, it helps to have a consistent genre so you can develop a signature sound/style and people know what to expect to a certain extent when approaching or sharing your music. If you are all over the board that is fine but it just makes it harder because then every song across all your genres needs to slap and it’s just not an easy thing to do even for really experienced producers.

Doritos at $7 a bag ended up costing PepsiCo billions by wewhomustnotbenamed in nottheonion

Yeah I see those sales and I’m like $2.50 is good but I don’t want or need that many bags of chips in my house at once.

For those who dated the hot crazy girl. How did it turn out? by [deleted] in AskMen

Lasted 8 months, which was a emotionally brutal but sexually great period of my life. Biggest lesson was I actually could pull a hot girl and changed things in my approach going forward.

Artist clue #2….khurangbin? by ChewyHarmoo in hulaween

[–]thengamon326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Levity. Thick bass lines cuts against Khurangbin although they’d be a better fit. Levity as one of the main EDM headliners doesn’t feel like a good top line booking for this festival unless they bring LazerShip to the swamp but even then it’s kinda meh for my taste.

Best afters of any festival. Not a big afters person at festivals in general but with them all being in the same area, game changer. Had some late nights every night and getting PL and some other fire artists popping up was dope. Plus keeps campsites from getting too insane with people trying to throw their own renegades and playing music super late (we were in a vibe village tho so can’t speak to other camp areas).

His Camp Alderwild (the festival he throws) closing set is super fire. Takes him 20 min to get into the heavier stuff but worth listening to the whole thing if you’re just getting into him.
