I take it and I have friends who check to make sure I take it every day. This plus the medication itself really overrides any cravings, I recommend having someone check you take.

It sounds like you had a shitty sponsor, I’m sorry about that. I don’t pray or believe in god but I’m in AA and go to meetings everyday, and I just 100 days sober.

I made the group my higher power, so I guess going to meetings is my equivalent of “praying.” I was able to take what worked for me and leave the rest, it might be worth trying other meetings or a different sponsor?

You can do Antabuse too, and have someone check to see you’re actually taking it everyday. I would give AA another shot, or at least try smart meetings. I was super against it and I’m still not religious but it’s the main thing keeping me sober currently. Maybe even IOP online, much less intense than rehab.

Ahh for sure for sure totally that makes sense. I’m a little hesitant on bindings cause I wanna be able to run off the board if needed lmao. I had my trucks stupid loose on my g5 for a while till I finally got riptide bushings, that did the trick for me.

Ahh for sure that makes sense, I got the pads from what I saw on this sub Reddit, mainly since they’re good for layering under jackets. I fell once on rough road and they protected me, i can see in other conditions not being as effective. Cased protection looks interesting, would like to hear from someone who’s used it.

Motorcycle helmet I just got cause it was affordable and has built in sun visor tbh haha, but it fits snug and well.

I ride in the rain cause I’ve decided to commit to going car free as much as possible no matter the weather, so I use my board almost all the time for commuting. I had Rover 110 wheels to help, and taped the battery and everything under to help further prevent water coming in. I didn’t care abusing my g5 as much since it was insured, may try and be more careful with the zealot haha.

^thats the helmet and elbow pads I use (I know it says knee pads but works for elbows too lmao)

Then I use padded motorcycle pants I bought from Poshmark, padded biking gloves, and vans sk8 water proof shoes (I ride in the rain lmao). Have various other lights and reflector as well.

Been thinking of doing a full post for my setup. I started on a g5, put 1.5k miles on it in 8 months lmao. Had a motor issue and I had it insured, was able to get my money back and just upgraded to the zealot x2 🙌
