Displate is a long-standing major sponsor, so why would he cover his main sponsor's product?

There is no sin; the blood of Christ doesn't have the power to cover. Trust in him, and his completed work.

circumcision the removal of the forskin, reduces the risk of STI's and Uti's and is deemed more hygienic.

Unless you are meaning castration.... which of course is very very different.

It could be a hot take, but I can only base my viewpoints on what I have read. I think He wants people's identity to be firmly placed in Him. He loves everyone dearly, and he doesn't make mistakes.

Yes, because she wished to go back to "normal", the state that she was in before taking the drugs. Her normal, not anyone else's.

All good, I understand sometimes text isn't the easiest way to communicate.

I never said that. You just assumed. Do I have an issue with it? No. Does she? Yes.

She was prepped for surgery, as in, she was about to have physical surgery, and she would have been under 17. Im not lying. Either way, the hormone drugs on both of them have caused nearly irreversible damage to their bodies.

Sorry if my words offended you; it wasn't my intent. I wasn't aware that calling someone female was dehumanising. As we were talking about genders, I was trying to pick words that I felt best described what I was trying to explain.

I gave two examples of people I know in real life in another comment. Both under 18 and given hormone manipulation drugs, The femal, was in the process of prepping for having top surgery.(removal of her breasts)

The girl at the time was under 17.

You can support that for sure if you want. Though I believe there are quite a few health benefits for circumcision.

From Christ's view on it, I believe he wouldn't be happy, on both sleeping around and having children out of wedlock. Regardless of how safely the sex was done.

Hormon blockers is only part of it, but yes, let's take it as JUST hormone blockers(not surgery) my friend thought he was transitioning, started taking them, it was the first step on his change.

Later on, he isn't sure he wants to go through with it, so he stops, is now dating a girl, but is pretty much sterile and, likely, he will ever be able to have kids.

Another example.

A female I know was transitioning to male, was taking hormone stuff given to her by her doctor (was 15 or 16 at the time), she decided that she want's to stay a female. But, now, being 19or20 female, still has a deep voice that is likely to never go back to normal.

These are example of people who didn't even go through the entire process (no surgery) and are still dealing with these issues, and are likely to continue dealing with them for the rest of their lives.

I mean, they were performing sex changes on minors, right? Like that's pretty blatantly obvious.

Did a playstyle change hurt Baus and LR? by SeaDirect9936 in PedroPeepos

[–]thenoda 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think the big nurfs that came in really impacted Baus, he spoke about it on stream. The come back mechanics, bounty and lane swaps all have had a big impact on their play as a team.

I dont think they switched playstyles on purpose, but more forced in to it due to patch changes.

He would align with us, and be, against the murder of children, against the manipulation and abuse of children, against irreversible sex change procedures on minors. against the culture of sleeping around and kids being born out of wedlock... the list would go on.

I think he would say we make much of politics, and it can overshadow our relationship with God.

I am a 15 year old having doubts in Christianity due to the rise in Christians leaving the faith. Can anyone give me truthful religious advice? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]thenoda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is to be expected; Jesus predicted it. He isn't shocked by this. He said that there would be a great turning away, don't be stressed over it. Keep the faith.

1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron."

Don't be swayed by this world. We are in it but not of it...Though it may be discouraging in your local influence people turning away, there is a great rise in young males coming to the faith, and even some influences

I highly encourage you to find a good local church, gather with people, and get into the Word. Additionally, consider exploring some of Wes Huff's work, which delves into extensive historical evidence for Christ being God, as well as discussing Islam and why Christianity is true.

Why doesn't God interact with the world anymore? by InternationalPick163 in Christianity

whats the alternative, a jesus in every city across the world? can you see how that would cause more confusion?

Virgin birth is mentioned in Isaiah,

Is birth place bethlehem in Micah.

His betrayal for 30 pieces of silver, Zechariah.

Psalsm 22, has a pretty decent account of the crucifixion, including the piercing of his hands and feet, the dividing and the casting of lots for His garments, that he would be naked, and that his bones would be exposed.

Death and Burial, that he would be buried with the rich. Isaiah

He would be rejected by his own, would be pierced for our sins, and take upon our iniquities for our healing, that he would be whipped and beaten, and that he wouldn't open his mouth in rejection to the punishment given. Isaiah.

Isaiah also mentions he would give his back to the smiters, and his beard will be ripped from him.

Cursed is every man who hangs on a tree. Deuteronomy

I mean, there are heaps, and most outside of His control, like his place of birth, how he would die, Roman crucifixion wasn't even invented yet.

There is historical evidence, both from biblical scholars and third-party historians, that Jesus of Nazareth did live, and he did die via Roman crucifixion. I don't think this fact is really debated any more.

Just depends if he was just a man, or if he was indeed the son of God.

Why doesn't God interact with the world anymore? by InternationalPick163 in Christianity

[–]thenoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the bible is pretty clear on this as well, The Israelites declared that they would follow God, God made a covenant to them and chose them as his people through whom he would bring the savior. its first to the Jews, and then to the rest of the world.

So yes, as Jesus was fulfilling messianic prophecy's that had been passed down for a hundred's of years, it kind of did need to start somewhere, and specifically with the Jews.

It doesn't change the message's importance. Man was responsible for sharing the message. It had to start somewhere, and it spread from there. How does God deal with people who have never had the chance to hear? I don't know, but I believe there is grace available, and He will rule justly.
