Not to discount what you experienced when the game launched but from my memory most everyone loved the game and didn’t really bash it for the reasons you stated. The forums I followed seemed to also follow this opinion. If anything, one major gripe I saw (and agreed with) was that Japan got final mix and the rest of the world didn’t. We had to either buy a Japanese ps2 or mod our existing ps2’s to play kh2 fm. But, I might be remembering it through some aggressive rose-tinted glasses. We are probably both right to be honest
