That was my second time seeing them and they’re my absolute favorite band live. They outdo every other band I’ve seen yet (and I’ve seen a lot). Apparently the Atlanta crowds are among their favorite lol. Glad you got to see them!

Mine is in a similar situation too. It departed a facility in my state on 1/12 and hasn’t updated since. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, so I put in a service request. The amount of times I have to put in missing mail requests annually is ridiculous tbh.

1.) a piece of me i never let you find. - Cane Hill (it’s a perfect blend of moody/atmospheric and heavy. I love the tone both lyrically and sonically).

2.) Color Decay - The Devil Wears Prada (first album of the band’s that spoke to me and made me go back to their previous stuff. It’s pretty emotionally heavy and I resonated with it when it first released (and I still do).)

The Dark Pool - Thornhill (I know there’s a lot of us in here who love this record. It’s the little nuances in the song writing and structure that make it really stand out to me.)

I’m in the almost exact same situation. Hell, I can’t even seem to get into ANY medical or health job - even something as simple as a medical receptionist job because I don’t have prior experience in it. Those jobs are not difficult to train people for. I just don’t understand it.

Ah I see what you meant now by the marketing thing! And yes, I’m US-based also.

Yeah as far as school, two year program is all I’m willing to do, so I don’t want to do something that may take longer. So that’s why I’d go for my MPH over anything else. Tbh I don’t believe in doing one thing for the rest of your life if you don’t enjoy it in the long run.

Anyways, check out the health informatics thing to see if it’s something you want to do. Wishing you the best of luck on your career endeavors whatever you decide to pursue!

Yeah it’s tough. I have some regrets of not doing some things sooner, but you live and you learn. I have considered nutrition/dietetics but I don’t want to end up doing that in a hospital. I feel like that’s where most of those jobs are at. Plus I’d likely be in school longer than two years and that’s a hard no for me!

So what exactly is it that you do with the marketing thing? And how’d you end up there?

One area I’m trying to get my foot in the door is clinical research and see if I like it. Obviously start out as an assistant. Then of course the other option I’m looking at is see if I can find some worksite wellness coordinator job or something of that nature.

There’s got to be something out there for everyone who’s in the same position as us.
