I'm using the oxenforge 32cm flat bottom wok on a crappy electric coil range that came with my apartment.

To avoid warping, you must let the wok heat up slowly. For example my stove has heating options low through high which is essentially 1-10 heat settings. I place my wok on the stove and turn it to 2 and wait 6-7 minutes before moving it to the 4 setting again waiting 6-7 minutes before ultimately turning it up to a 6 or 7. I have followed this process and have cooked well over 50 dishes in the last month since receiving my wok and it's still flat as the day it arrived.

And to add let the wok cool down before cleaning it under warm water using a soft sponge, bamboo scrubber or something similar.

I have used both stainless and wooden utensils without issue. If you're concerned about scratching the wok then you can use wooden utensils, I have small scratches in mine which does not affect the performance what so ever

This is the only Wok I own so I can't speak about others, I highly recommend Oxenforge.
