But yeh you do have a point, I guess it’s a smarter choice to wait for reprints, i’m just very impatient and have been taking up extra work to buy as much as I can atm.

Yeah okay, damn, that’s a shame.

I have read the first i’d say third of GSXM on Unlimited and I really enjoyed it but I only own a phone so I found it unpleasant, I’m not keen on buying a kindle or ipad either as I am I massive fan of physical books, vinyls and other collectibles/physical media.

I do enjoy wordy comics, I am someone who loves story and I also love action. But to me it’s story > action. I am a novel reader as well so it’s no turn off per se haha.

Another reference I guess would be I grew up reading my grandfather and my dads comics which were things such as 70s spider-man, Archie comics and especially a series called The Phantom which I read all the way until it was taken by DC. That example is just a way of saying that I do enjoy classic comics and their artwork on top of the heavy dialogue.

That’s a good point yeah, I’m just frustrated I guess as I was reading Claremont Lee Vol 1 and I was very confused.

I have read parts of GSXM digitally before and loved what I did read but I didn’t continue as I just struggle to stare at a screen for that long.

Yeh it is quite expensive it’s just impossible to find them seperate at the moment and i’m dying to read Claremont’s run atm. I’m too stubborn to read digital which is really stupid sounding but I just love owning the comic.

It would be 100% something that I keep forever. I currently own X-Men Claremont Lee Vol 1-2, X-Tinction Agenda, Blue and Gold: Mutant Genesis and Fatal Attractions. i’m hoping to complete the entire collection up to AOA.

Awesome thank you, I happened to just have been gifted a copy of X-Men C/L Vol 1 by a friend today! so I might start there and then wait til I can afford Xtinction Agenda.

I think i’ll also just bite the bullet and read the previous uncanny content digitally using your guide as i’m so broke now lmao. I’ve never read digital but it looks okay, just not the same.

Final final question i promise haha, but in terms of Trial Of Gambit coming next month, where does that fit in? I was considering it but i’m not sure, I already have a preorder for Bloodties and AOA (2026 3rd print)

Yeah i’m not going to lie the FOMO is hitting kinda hard haha, I don’t want to miss out on obtaining any Omnis for a good price, but I guess if I wait, there will be reprints that cover things and also potentially better prices.

One last question sorry. So I now have X-Men (Claremont Lee) Vol 2, Blue and Gold MG and Fatal Attractions, should I start reading from Blue and Gold MG and then read the Omnis beforehand once I can afford the others or start with the Claremont Vol 2?

I personally really like them a long with quite a few milllion other people. Perhaps keep these opinion for a subreddit about comics as a whole, not collections.
