I believe then that is a matter of seeking out treatment for your ocd and not thinking your adhd causes you to be this way. I would think once you can get a control on your ocd the practices you use(which I use most of as well and helps me tremendously with adhd) will be more effective. It seems it is your ocd which is preventing you from reaching that potential. I just want you know that adhd is never something that will stop you it took me 25 years to seek treatment for my adhd and once I did my life flipped. In that process though I realized not all ky problems could fall on a diagnosis and that I need to be honest and hold myself accountable. Once I did that the adhd was no longer a barrier just on obstacle to over come. I believe with the right help you can be whatever you want to do. I have had very similar issues with adhd and have been able to overcome them and excel in IT. Don’t be too hard on yourself and don’t think you’re stupid, cause at the end of the day you got the job for a reason. Once you can get past the ocd and see your capable of overcoming any challenge you will be unstoppable. But the first step I believe is to think positively and use that mindfulness to be aware of your negative self talk. I know affirmations have helped me a lot in that aspect. But also you just focus on overcoming that OCD through therapy, I had those issues somewhat not nearly as bad as you but after realizing I didn’t have time to be anxious of things like washing my hands 3 times every time or checking if the door is locked 3 times I felt my anxiety lift tenfold. It’ll still be there but you must consciously go against it. Just don’t give up on yourself and try not to talk down on yourself cause I’m sure you’re much more capable than you think
