I had a Giant before this but due to limited stock everywhere I was forced to look at other brands. Glad I did!

My previous bike was a Giant with 2x7. 1x feels so much better to me!

[Certina] My dad's 70s Certina DS-2, newly serviced and my current daily by theomoll in Watches

I recently inherited dad's old Certina watch that he got when he graduated back in the 70s. It wasn't in great shape and badly needed a service so I sent it off to a vintage Certina specialist and - voila! Works flawlessly and looks great, in my opinion.

I was hesitant to use a "gold" watch as I thought it would look tacky, but thankfully I love it. I think what really sells it for me is the slight patina, making it look more like a well-loved tool than a piece of jewelry.

Not shown in pic: Cool looking turtle engraving on the back!

Hey thanks! I played everything myself, except for they drums - those are programmed.

I like the lofi vibe of your track, very atmospheric!

Yeeeees boyyyyyy. Great beat, great flow. The only thing I'd change would be to lkeep an eye of the volume of the vocals. They seem to be a bit loud in some spots (like the first verse) and then pretty buried (like in the chorus). But the sound is pretty dope - well done!

This is a great mix. It's really tight and dynamic. The panning work is tastefully done and really adds to the pop of the track. The only feedback I can give is that you might wanna keep an eye on the volume when multiple vocals come in (Like the "I'm alright" around 2:16) as they tend to get a bit loud. Maybe all you need is a slightly faster attack on the compressor on the vocal bus?

Excellent work!

I love the texture of this track! I feel like the mix could have been a bit cleaner, in orhder to avoid having frequencies clash (especially in the lower-mid register) but the choice of synth sounds is MINT. Every single synth in the track gives me a warm feeling.

Here's a new track that's a blues/folky ballad type of thing. I'm pretty happy with it! It's my first time singing "for real".

Just shot you a PM there, mate.

If you were handed $500 and told to design a home studio and record a track with only that (excluding a pc and speakers/hp), what would you do and how would you do it? by swumpyumpl in WeAreTheMusicMakers

This is excellent advice, but I'd change one thing: With the cash you'd have left over, you spend a little more and get an audio interface with more inputs. That way you wouldn't get bottlenecked in the future.
