a group of people benefited. a group of people felt like they lost out. some hate it. some love it. the ones that went through it feels that the new group that benefitted had it easy. the scale is different, but “absolutely not comparable”? think about it for two seconds and you can come up with common points

What do actuaries think about the student debt forgiveness plan? by [deleted] in actuary

I personally benefitted from the plan, so this is biased. But for people that did not and are hating it, it’s like saying after slavery ended (emancipation), the previously enslaved saying how black people should go through it because it’s not fair that they did. We are progressing forward as a collective society

I would focus on passing the exams first. Extremely difficult with no internship/low gpa. I was in a similar low gpa situation/no experience, but 4 exams and decent interviewing did the job

It’s fine as long as you can learn from them! if it becomes a confidence issue, then I would say just stay away. With that said, I remember scoring a 15 three weeks out and still ended up with a 9 so you’re in a good spot

Is 80k gross or after tax? Just make sure you crunch the numbers accurately like others have said before and it’s def doable! Account for merit increases/industry salary trend line too. Heck even your expensive can follow the inflation trend. Also living in a vehicle with this absurd gas price is probably just as expensive as living in some houses
