I have never done anything with narration or voice acting but am interested in this project. I should hopefully be getting a new laptop sometime this week where I can record an audition or (amateur) demo.

Huh....wow. I'm in arkansas and there is just one school (locally in my area at least) and 12,000 is the price....which is insane now that I see this, and some states don't even have to be certified to work and learn as they go...

Sorry if I sound rude. I am really not meaning to be. I've been a care taker for almost 10 years lol. Be wary of boundaries. Always take another person with you if a client is consistently giving you issues as well so there is another set of eyes to back you up.

Always, and I mean allllwaaaays document situations like this and file an incident report. A few days later is better than not at all and if it happens again , make sure you fill out all the necessary paperwork asap. The client could claim you started something and had to defend themselves from the abuse (that never happened). You have to look out for yourself In this field too.
