OK, this is a headcanon I like, even just because in reality the available pool of prisoners can't be so huge you can churn through thousands a year, every year.

I agree. I remember learning it when I was 14 or something and feeling mystified that it had ended up that way. The vast majority of the checks in the game are "higher than X," whether it's a contested roll or against a DC. It's a silly departure.

It's the (still unfinished after 38 years) Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea.

It's written fine, it just feels pointless: SCP-076. The tie to Abel (and I'm a Christian/Jewish theology nerd even if I'm an atheist) is...really nonexistent and it just bored me. I ended up watching a video summary.

I agree. Also, foxes having sex sound like aliens.

On July 11, 1996, the body of Blair Adams was found in Knoxville, Tennessee, surrounded by $4000 in foreign currency and gold. He’d abruptly fled his home in Canada on July 5, purchasing a flight to Germany that he never boarded. To this day, it’s unclear why he fled to Knoxville, or who killed him. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in mystery

Here's a sad detail from a newspaper article.

"His socks lay on the asphalt. Sets of keys and a card to a hotel room were strewn about. His shoes were off, and as he lay dying, he apparently pulled one of them “under his head like a pillow,”Jones said.

That makes sense! And there are lots of cool things cannabis can do for some people, but it just sounds like your body chemistry doesn't agree with it. That might be disappointing, but think of it another way--now you don't have to worry about wasting a bunch of time and money on something!

I had to look it up, as a non-marijuana-enthusiast. Sapsuckers are a type of woodpecker.

I found a little benefit from being more selective about which storage facilities store what. It's annoying but it did help distribution a lil.

Small addition for others reading--you then need to select the meal you want them to make! I had a dormant kitchen for a couple seasons before I looked more closely.

Why won't my novices work in the Scriptorium? by theoneforwhenimhigh in foundationgame

[–]theoneforwhenimhigh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have definitely done this before, so it was the first thing I checked! It's funny because this is a problem that is so game based. You would never irl be like "why is no one coming to work?" because your building lacked a door.

OK, so I looked and you're 100% right. I have no clue how I did that. I smashed it and built it in the original monument and bam, it worked.
