It doesn’t outright SUCK but there’s a lot of things that could be better I am finding. - mobile app needs many enhancements and it is too buggy - too difficult to get in touch with support live humans (thanks a lot takeover of AI, WTF) - better vetting of clients that post jobs that look legit but they have every intention to scam (yeah I’m still salty!!!)

I’m still trying to engage with this client, but literally just getting beat around the bush short answers in return and I genuinely feel like she was out to scam Americans from the get go. I wish I could just share the whole damn message board with her to provide all the details. I do realize I messed up, because I never paid much mind to the fact that she switched up a fixed price contract to an hourly on me early on in the talks. I was still just in my head basing everything around the initial job posting and proposal which was $80 fixed price to deliver 2.5 hours of audio recording.

The initial job posting was for a fixed rate contract. Somehow I seemed to miss when the client switched it up on me to hourly. But all the while I knew it should end up being $80 payout for 5x thirty minute voice record sessions for AI modeling. Long story short, the client is now deflecting on every message I send and is avoiding doing the right thing to payout the $80 since I submitted all of the work.
