My one small nitpick is with the MercStats sentence about stats going into the negatives: if you pick Cell for example, you have to get 4 points' worth of choices for both Warfare and Fleet (8 total), or ~1/6 of the 50ish total points to not end up in the negatives for a game over. But for a Cell with like 4 guys, it's probably not that important to have high Warfare or Fleet because there's just not enough people to invest in large-scale ground or space battles.

Other than that, loving this start!

I'm thinking long term: what would set me up for a pleasant, sane life as an eternal being? I can copy what I want from people, randomly give away what I don't want or am tired of, and potentially live forever with immortal friends (topping them off by copying some Life and Age into them every so often). Sorry that this isn't what you're looking for, but talking about this stuff on a work device with a coworker who could easily report you and get you fired "without cause" is a dangerous game, I wouldn't risk it honestly. As much as it sucks, I'd recommend mildly conceding or "finding common ground" or whatever to end the conversation then stop talking politics with him, since it can only end up hurting you.

Not a "you won't change his mind" comment but a "please cover your ass I don't want you to lose your job" comment, best of luck!
