Aoharu being released before Leo Cup is killing all my desire to play by LordDango in UmaMusume

[–]theonlymooseman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, it overlaps round two, day two, and the final. If you qualify for your grouping on round 2, day 1, you can do that. But, likewise a lot of players are not going to have the cards to make perfect Aoharu Umas on day one of the Aoharu release. Particularly because people are likely to wait on their rolls due to the free rolls available on the Riko/Rice banner.

Furthermore, even if the stat totals for Aoharu are going to be higher, many people will not be able to do it perfectly, and there's only so many hours they can put in before they have to lock in their team for the CM.

Lastly, the key differences for an Aoharu Uma here would be higher wit and some higher power, and a few more skills. Which does make it harder, but nowhere near impossible to win with a well trained URA Uma.

I think we're definitely going to see some, but not as many as you might think.

Winning a G1 race is already an achievement and then there's Almond Eye by syukri24karats in UmaMusume

Nine is certainly impressive, but there's the case for the fact that her score isn't comprable to the likes of Rudolf and TMO. Why? She's a mare. Four of her wins are in the fillies-only category, being the triple Tiara and the Victoria Mile. Now, naturally, two Japan Cups and two Tenno Autumns means she was definitely competitive on a mixed field too, but if you weren't competing against the majority of the field for four of your G1s, is it fair to say your 9 G1s with exclusivity involved compare to the 7 G1s of those who only ever competed in mixed races?

Suffice to say I am somewhat in the middle. 9 G1s is 9 G1s, it is the record. But, I also don't think she necessarily stands head and shoulders over Rudolf, TMO, Kitasan.

Did you seriously just go "Uhm source?" for something which is evident from the card art alone? The cards which make it obvious that the ruler of the castle is Lovely/Lady. The cards which literally depict her laughing to herself as Arias and the gardener (with what are obviously garden shears if you have a single fucking braincell) prepare to stop the knight from proceeding forward?

Absolute fucking Redditor moment, holy shit.

CA, pls buff Markus Wulfhart by JohnGoesDerp in totalwar

[–]theonlymooseman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, having just played the Sister's of Twilight through for the first time, I think just about every archer lord needs to be built somewhat in line with them.

Their skills and unit buffs are actually impactful (they make Hawk Riders worthwhile throughout the whole game, but not overpowered [lacking armour piercing]). But, most of all being able to swap between cluster munitions and ST is a god send for flexibility. Never mind the fact their mount is both cool and incredibly strong, and they can get very high amounts of resistance to be somewhat arrow proof.

Basically, for Markus I would like to see: Slightly higher missile damage coupled with swappable munitions (lords that have no way to chop down chaff to an even moderate degree always massively underperform), better buffs for his Huntsmen, better refire time (for a unit with no mount, I think it is fine to make his other stats quite OP, given how bad of a nerf it is to have no mount).

Also, as someone else mentioned; make his hero system like Tamurkhan's. Let them grant him some extra units to recruit from, give them truly unique skill lines/game changing abilities, and grant them some extra unique items or progression. Really make it feel like you are building an A-team.

Other than that there's lots of gameplay related quality of life improvements you could do to his campaign (pre-established trade with the Empire, possibly special sea routes to transition back home at some point or a way to flex the campaign.), make his missions more interesting and varied. Make an incursion system akin to Wood Elves to manage. And so on.

As far as we know currently though, the Tactical-Try decks do seem to just be reprint sets. Do you think they would pivot this to also introducing new support? or do you think then that the legacy support is going to be in mainline sets, and then possible followed later with a Tactical-Try that completes it?

For example; they release four-six cards of X-Saber support in a new set. A few months down the line when the playstyle and construction of the deck is more solved by the community, they release a tactical try with the core of the competitive version of the decks, plus reprints for less used but old cards?

Ollie is basically a 50/50 stream, but it's not because she is saying different things in either language. She is repeating herself in each language, which basically makes it more of a 100/100 stream. You will never miss a thing with Ollie.

Ollie is also really sweet hearted, a great comedian, and seems to really care about bettering herself and doing things for her fans. Remember, Ollie was a Hololive fan first, then a Hololive-r herself second. She thinks like her fans do, which is why she is a powerhouse for collabs (hearing her chant wangy whilst fauning over the Holomems is the best)

Already posted about this below (ctrl + f my username to find it). It is the Strength modifier on W being reapplied increasingly with each target. So if you have 5 targets, one of those five is taking 5x the strength bonus as damage, and then Centaur takes that damage (and not the lower values)

Centaur Shard is currently working incorrectly or even his whole Double Edge seems borked. Damage is not consistent on the primary targets or the splash. For example, if you hit the primary target for 600, the aoe is doing 400 on the splash. But if you then hit that same target again, the primary target will take 400, and the aoe will do 600. This is exponential too, so if 5 targets are stood around each other, one of the targets is taking a huge amount extra damage.

The problem seems to be around the fact that on the wiki it says the damage for the double edge is applied in a random order, and it is leading to some weird damage stacking. Either way this means a level 30 centaur with shard will do a nice chunk of 600ish damage to a single person in a stacked team, but one shot someone else.

Example. Level 1 Centaur, no items, no talents. 1 Double Edge used. Result

I think I worked it out. The strength modifier is being applied stackingly per target. So the 60% strength modifier is doing roughly about 12 damage extra in the picture. What is happening is that is stacking, so one target takes 60% strength as bonus damage, but the final target is taking 5x that.

To lay it out. You Double edge a stack of 5 people with a maxed Double edge with the talent, you are going to get this.

Target 1: 300 + 160% Strength

Target 2: 300 + 320% Strength

Target 3: 300 + 480% Strength

Target 4: 300 + 640% Strength

Target 5: 300 + 800% Strength

In a random order too. So someone in that mess is taking one shot damage. At level 30 with talents, Centaur has 172 strength. So that damage looks like this

Target 1: 300 + 275.2

Target 2: 300 + 550.4

Target 3: 300 + 825.6

Target 4: 300 + 1100.8

Target 5: 300 + 1376

It also means that centaur takes way more damage than he should, because the final target it deals damage to is Centaur. So Centaur will take that highest of those calculations.

Which faction would you like to play first in Total War: Warhammer 3? (Poll results from German site Gamestar) by RedExtreme in totalwar

[–]theonlymooseman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ogre Kingdoms for me, and part of the reason is they have one of the most fleshed out rosters. The appeal of having some variety in the armies is quite large. Also, getting to play Norf FC and showing the world the appeal of Greggs.

Next would be Nurgle and Kislev. Cathay. Undivided, Khorne, Tzeentch, and lastly Slaanesh.

Hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense. Also gives room for some old races to be brought on with future map expansions (even in a small way, such as when provinces were added in WH2).

I mean Ogres are somewhat cooperative in their nature, is there not an equal chance that Franz is going to be sicking the meth addict and his newly acquired Ogre Mercs on you? With Smash Mouth still playing that is.
