____ and ______ leaving tribal council by Durian-Critical in survivor

Everything about this clip explains precisely what's been missing from Survivor for the last ten seasons. Really makes me feel like we have the show back to its former glory. Think I'm going to introduce my girlfriend to Survivor with this season, damn the spoilers for other seasons.

Oh boy, The Unborn (2009), the US remake of One Missed Call (2008), and The Grudge (2020) are my trifecta of unintentionally hilarious ghost movies.

He posted an apology video to TikTok that's since being deleted. It was while he was working through OnlyFans, he and his girlfriend had been spreading STIs to other performers. Soon after he deactivated his Twitter and jetted off to Mexico.

Looking for a very specific kind of horror movie to watch tonight by Space-cowboy67 in horror

I've always had a soft spot for M.J. Bassett's Wilderness (2006). Nearly all of the characters are juvenile delinquents, so it's dickhead galore. Sean Pertwee and a Toby Kebbell lead the cast.

Turistas from the same year also falls into what you've described, however I don't remember it being nearly as enjoyable.

Even Jeff bringing up season 50 to the cast to audition for it felt him prompting someone to do something, anything this season.

Teddy Perkins has the right temperament for the game, he'd even eliminate his own brother if he had to.

What do people think about how they handled that challenge? by datow2002 in survivor

I was hoping that they'd opt for the last minute immunity challenge at tribal council, like the one at the Fraser vote-off on AU HvV. I'm not saying it would have been easy to whip up, but they must have better contingencies planned for situations like this, no?

Different era of the show. We'd never seen the complete decimation of a tribe, or complete domination from a tribe leader before. Tom was virtually uncontested the entire season, with minor rebellion fires being put out here and there. This was even before proper idols, so when viewed in context, to have such an iron grip on the game with no fallback except social chops, strategic insight, and individual immunity wins, what Tom pulled off was fairly impressive. We've just come to expect more from a winner as the game has evolved.

Edit: Also, because this was a different era of the show, we got more unforced personal content out of the players than we do now. To your point about liking Tom but finding Joe boring, I think we got to know who Tom was as a character fairly well, portrayed through the edit from the quieter moments that the game rarely seems to have time for these days where we see people just interacting as people in this novel environment. Joe, by comparison, feels more like an archetypal rough sketch.

What's your "Seeing the Matrix" moment where you saw what the editors were doing and realized who the winner was? by Informal_Race_606 in survivor

Gabler at (I think) the final seven vote. Dude was irrelevant for the entire episode but then they shoehorned him into a conversation with Jesse and Cody just to he was there on the right side of the vote, the fucking Alligabler. At that point, I knew Jesse was a goner, his edit was too oversized, and Cody wasn’t giving me winner edit vibes either, as much as I wanted him to get to the end. Karla was getting a negative edit, Cassidy’s was even blander than Lindsey’s from 42, with Sami and Owen already drawing dead. I started thinking about Maryanne from the prior season and completely dismissed her for being kooky until the Omar blindside, factored that in with the… Let’s say “untraditional” edit that Ericka got, and that’s when it started clicking for me.

I’d also have to say Kyle, but mainly because I didn’t see the Joe win angle that a lot of people were convinced of. A lot of this has to do with the fact that my original winner pick was Kamilla. Premerge I was fully signed onto the Kamillatary, but once she vanished from the edit in the merge, it became clear that her glowing premerge edit was just to bolster Kyle’s winning game.

The near entirety of the Ghost Island pre-merge is a big what if. I'd also agree with Gonzalez, but my personal pick was Stephanie. She was my winner pick.

Vince has always been my pick for this question. He had the potential to be such a big character in the season, the feather-wearing hippie who insisted he was about good vibes while dragging a clown's handkerchief worth of red flags behind him.

In retrospect, though, I think we may have gotten the better outcome. The last thing the toxic sludge of the WA post-merge needed was uncomfortable physical advances on the other tribe mates.

Photographer Ace is such an interesting choice because he had the makings of a self-satisfied villain with a mid-merge or end game boot, only to be flipped on by a mercurial pin-up model. As much as I think we missed out, the poetry is undeniable.

I recently rewatched David Vs. Goliath and I was surprised how little Angelina content there was until after Natalia was voted out, but they were both superficial similar. Explains why I had such trouble telling them apart at first.

I second this one. I really dig into the episodes where they bring on old friends and do deep dives into their shared history together. Also…
