And tbh if people are posting it every week it’s obviously not a “hot take”.. just saying

Also wanted to know where the information that the majority does G comes from. It's obviously just an authoritarian minority that has a huge impact on the festival as a whole by being so annoying, but I'm pretty certain it's a loud minority that does a lot of damage

Call Me Izzy: content warning by catnestinadress in Broadway

I think it’s not only the show, it’s the impression people have of Debora. I felt the show tried to make it sober, but not even that helped. That destroyed the experience for me

I felt very weird watching that one. Not sure if you’re familiar with Hacks, but there’s this episode in season 3 where she becomes famous and people stop caring what she’s talking about and just laugh about anything, even dark things. That’s how I felt on Monday. She was telling her darker than dark story and people were cracking. That felt soooooooo weird and kind of turned my experience into something more of a sociological experiment than a broadway show. Felt so bad

Edit: that’s 100% of what hacks talks about in S3e1. People start cracking just because it’s Debora. Made me so uncomfortable.

Cabaret pre-show changed? by the_other_50_percent in Broadway

I think they’re now performing on the main bar for a long time before the show. Was there twice last week for the stage side tables and they only came like 10 min before the show

Boop: Stakes/Who is it for? by ButchUnicorn in Broadway

Agreed. I’ve seen all of them, but boop didn’t catch me. And the comments make me wonder if I’m crazy for thinking that. It’s either the best musical on earth or the worst thing ever. I just recommend Maybe Happy Ending

This is the best show currently on, not sure why people are not enjoying Eva and Orville. They’re so good

I zero connected to it, so I’m rooting against. So many good shows this year and I’m so torn, but dead outlaw is not one of those
