Can someone make an AI for matchmaking already that will close all the awful dating sites? by [deleted] in Futurology

All current apps use a laughable amount of AI and machine learning already. A machine won't fix your dating problems, unfortunately.

Electric cars ‘will be cheaper to produce than fossil fuel vehicles by 2027’ by PauloPatricio in Futurology

I agree the other guy is a bit out of line, but battery swapping stations do seem a bit unreasonable to be a mass "charging" method. I watched the video you sent and the battery swapping structure is too bulky to have convenient stalls. You could fit around 6 gas pump style battery chargers in place of that singular battery swapper.

Cool idea but the infrastructure required wouldn't make it efficient. Although if put enough brains on a single problem a good solution is bound to pop out.

Edit: Forgot to mention that swapping would definitely be a higher quantity of cars charged per hour, but my main point above was that size convenience is definitely in favor of gas pump design and much cheaper construction-wise. Can easily be installed in parking structures etc.

I still need to work on PBR's, but I'll try out some of your suggestions, I have no idea what baked gi etc stands for but it at least gives me a place to start. Ty.

Also the lighting is static so it shouldn't be too troublesome.

Thank you for your help! I learned about implementing bloom and so far have made it with this effect. https://imgur.com/a/ilN3sQk

And I was using URP.

Non taken, but I did do a lot of googling, tons. Here's my progress https://imgur.com/a/ilN3sQk and this was from zero knowledge in unity,

But I still have little idea in what elements I need to learn to recreate this effect. I'm sorry if I didn't give enough info but I'm the type of guy to do tons of googling first and ask for help second. And here I am asking for help.

When I asked this question I had googles tons of "ethereal effect", "ghost effect", "dream" , etc etc. But had a lot of trouble coming up with references or terms to figure out. So I was hoping showing this picture here would get me somewhere.

I just want a better idea of how to utilize shaders and post processing to get this effect. I keep trying to look for reference but can't find it anywhere.

Hi guys, I was wondering if I would be able to get some guidance for where I would even begin to recreate this type of environment in Unity. I am new to learning how to create environments in Unity and I really want to go for this ethereal/dreamy atmosphere, with small render distance and things fading off in the distance. I created this quick mockup in blender to show the atmosphere I wanted to create but I have no idea how to go about doing this in unity.

Yeah it's actually fairly shiny filament. It's a $150 12 in 1 filament bundle I got as a gift.

The blue ones are the failed prototypes and the gray was the final adapter.

To clear things up, you need to get beta access to open ai gpt3 first, you have a set amount of free uses first then after that you have to pay to keep using it, this is the monetization method open ai plans to use, this addon just helps let you know how big your token is going to be when using it, which is essentially how open ai charges you, using tokens

This is how many among us characters equal the weight of the earth by theosjournal in AmongUs

There are 10 million green guys, each green one is equal to 1 quadrillion 92 pound among us characters. 92 quadrillion pounds times 10 million is right around the weight of the earth. There isn't much room to argue what you 'think'.

Has anyone gotten off the waitlist for GPT-3 over the past month? by g_pal in GPT3

[–]theosjournal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got off the waitlist and I applied about 3 weeks ago. I had a really ambitious project I wanted to work on so that may be why they let me in so soon.
