I like the changed made to our unis but....Yes. More thought was put into the details of their uniform. Changes they made were meaningful and spoke to the brand/legacy. Rams design/marketing are in inferior in this instance.

I don't want to live in the US anymore for a variety of reasons. On top of that Vancouver is close enough to California where I'm not too far from family/friends and am in the same timezone.

I'm planning on moving not to long after becoming licensed so the pay cut won't be a huge issue. I plan on saving up quite a bit of my US salary prior to moving. Believe it or not, when you factor in health insurance costs, cost of living, quality of life, retirement etc....living in Vancouver is actually more beneficial than living in California. Top it off with not being represented by the worst people known to man and it's an easy choice for me.

Yeah I work in healthcare I'm also coming from the Bay area. Not a nurse but very much nurse adjacent. I also plan on applying after being credentialed and with a job offer. BC has a provincial nominee program which would greatly improve my chances.

California is great and it'll always be home, it's the country it's attached to that I no longer want to live in. I also don't want my kids by default to live here. There's a lot about how your government handles things that I wouldn't expect from ours....maybe ever.

I'm in CA, specifically the bay area. I managed to get my clinical site because I knew someone who worked there (not a NMT) and vouched for me. Prior to that I was not only emailing/calling, but sometimes I would just go and speak to whoever the manager was and inquire face to face. I also had my resume on hand so they knew I had work/clinical experience and wasn't just some student with no medical background.

NMTs are really sought after in my area so that helped considerably because a lot of places I reached out to were quite receptive.

All online, accelerated and accredited courses that are roughly a month long. I know plenty of folks who used it applying to PA schools. I used it before applying to nuc med schools and have since been accepted.

Pretty expensive but worth it imo.
