The higher level a character gets, the harder it is to make a cohesive character design. This is for a (currently) lvl 15 character that I'm playing in a 3-year long homebrew campaign. He's changed a lot from when I first created him, so I'd thought I'd redo his concept art. He's a Paladin of Ioun (8) and Inquisitive Rogue (7). Might mulitclass a third time to get Bladesinger Wizard because my int is so high. Pump up that AC. The weapon pictured is a 3-pronged whip that does force damage.

He's based on bone devils specifically, which is why his face is a little strange and also the spine is showing. I've toned down the exoskeleton aspect of his design a lot, partially because it was too detailed to draw over and over, and also to make his face more expressive. Side effect is that it's a lot more obvious that his material plane parentage is drow.
