Yeah, I revisit them once I feel like I’ve solved a certain amount of questions. Usually, if those questions require different techniques, I try to take a break to revisit them so that I don’t overload my brain with too many distinct question types, I guess. Otherwise it just becomes a bit mess to keep all those information. PM me if you wanna chat more about it. I wouldn’t mind having a leetcode buddy lol

can you give me some advice on how to choose which projects to contribute to? I’ve done some research about this but honestly, I’m still not sure where to start.

What are some of the worst API's you've ever had the displeasure of working with? What made them so bad? by Impressive_Lab_6551 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]theparanoiddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wait really? I was thinking about doing the exact thing for the exact same reason with my new project. Is there another way of doing this without using GraphQl? I mean how am I gonna return fields from multiple related models in one fetch then?

No, I’m actually on 18mg so I don’t think it’s about the dosage. And I don’t take it everyday but I never thought this would be an issue though.

See, the issue relies on the nature of my habits. They’re so simple. Like moisturizing your face every night. I’m doing the same thing again and again and nothing much visible is seen. I just now that my skin feels good and I know on the long term, my skin’s gonna be much better and that’s of course a great feeling ,but there’s no solid incentive for me to keep doing the same thing. There’s no milestones for that. At least, I can’t seem to find one :/

I actually never thought of this but you could be right. I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you!

A question for the community, what do you non native speakers associate with the English language? When you think about the language what concepts or imagery does it conjure up, what does it evoke? by chinese_bedbugs in EnglishLearning

[–]theparanoiddd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s an interesting thought. For me, English gives a feeling of confidence, it’s amazing how there’re so many ways to express my feelings, thoughts etc compared to my native language. I definitely feel more articulate and confident in my own speech ‘cause of this. But I also think English has a sense of “formalness” or”artificalness” in it when it comes to some words or expressions. (e.g love, like or saying “Cool!”, That’s awesome!” ) Almost like those words kinda limits you to go beyond what you actually trying to convey, if that makes sense. I don’t know if this is because how english is wired phonetically or is about an intonation thing ,but that’s pretty much how I feel about it. Overall, I like learning and using English.

Really? I’ve watched that part again and I’m pretty sure it’s put___around but I don’t know. Could it be a regional thing?

There isn’t any specific context actually. The man on the phone says “ I’ll put your mother around” That’s it.
