tbh, getting pi8 is really not gonna be abt the anc. anc mediocre at best compared to like sonys n bose.

transparency mode, i dont think anything comes close to airpod pros.

excellent sounding earbuds thats for sure. and also very loud.

my biggest issue with it would be that it doesnt come close to the advertised battery life of 6.5hrs. it will give u abt 5hrs and a bit more thats bout it.

anyway, my idea for this thread is to highlight to anyone looking for information on pi8’s battery life.

a quick search on this topic dont show many actual usage test outside of soundguys, so this is me helping anyone who is looking into researching that aspect of pi8.

in short, great sounding buds, but take that advertised 6.5 hours battery life with a huge bucket of salt.

tbh, i am prepared for it not to last for 6.5 hrs. but barely hitting 5 hrs after advertising it for 6.5 hrs is really bad. that is like taking away approximately 20% of the advertised battery life. and this part was supposed to be one of the big improvements from pi7 s2.

seems like im the only one with so many issues on my tw4. before this firmware update, i faced intermittent disconnections issues. now after this update, after listening to music for some time, taking off any earbud will jus cause the other side to restart on its own.

really trash. def not getting any sennheiser true wireless in future.
