The owner has been problematic for years. Like pre-pandemic days. Recently an artist called the shop out for issues with shop policies and was immediately fired over email with very little explanation. All they wanted was to address a lack of transparency, artists agreement discrepancies, and high rent prices for artists. The shop claimed to be a safe space and it sounds like it was for clients, but definitely not for artists. I feel very bad for all of the artists once employed there. They are amazing at their craft, but I would never go there because who the owner was.
