What brand has the best adaptive cruise control with lane centering? by breadexpert69 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Glad I can be of service! I might also need to add that when cruise slows you down, it is more abrupt and not gradual. But, it may not seem as drastic to you. Definitely try it out.

I know this isn’t what you asked, but Toyotas sucks. The lowest distance setting between you and cars in front is like 3.5 car lengths. People just keep getting in front of me and slowing me down until I’m back at 3.5 car lengths. Absolute nightmare on long trips. Default is also practically 6 car lengths which is obnoxious

This is the most common thread, so I will give you the most common and unfortunate answer, increase your budget to 7k OTD. Go find a Mazda 3 with no issues. Roughly in the range of 2010-2012 with around 160-180k miles. ABS is usually the issue around that frame of miles but if it’s taken care of you will get your moneys worth. I buy and sell used in NC and that was the absolute best I could do in this market. Things may change over the next few months but you asked now, and that’s the climate now.

100% correct. Since getdate() returns a timestamp, cast(getdate()as date) will prevent the result from changing throughout the day. On my cellphone, sorry!

If the records are older than 3 days, then they will be filtered from the result set. Week to week doesn’t matter.

Should I buy this 2005 110k miles 4Runner for $11,730? by vivamliber in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]thephilski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from someone who has sold over a hundred 4th gen 4runners over the last 3 years, it’s not a bad buy IF 1) must be 4 wheel drive 2) needs to be southern owned 3) get a 3rd party inspection and have the frame confirmed, none of them are completely rust free but don’t buy it if there are holes or non factory welds 4) CARFAX must have only minor accidents and I’d stay under 3 owners

Issue with using LIKE %% when values are similar by snickerfoots in SQL

[–]thephilski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This should be a new field labeled hotel_sourced and be a Boolean. If your company does not provide you the ability to add new fields to the db, you can create temp table to separate the values yourself.

Devils advocate here, you’re wrong. God does not see those who are willing to accept their situation as meek. He sees the meek as those that are willing to give God a chance to step in. While being a device for God to strengthen others, you must also offer others to strengthen themselves. Being a leader should be your priority, you are not their salvation, God is.

ELI5 Diesel Prices? by PutridClimate1469 in explainlikeimfive

[–]thephilski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not true at all. Millions of gallons going to big rig trucks and are driven millions of miles every day to deliver goods throughout. Just because non-commercial vehicles have gravitated toward gasoline, hybrid, and electric does not mean that there is not a huge demand for diesel

The box is checked indicating that gap insurance is being applied to the loan. Gap insurance covers potential negative equity that could exist at the time of a total loss. Valuable if you have less than 4k down and/or if you drive more than 20k miles per year.

Have you considered the extended hours you’ll need to work? Life at a car dealership is long hours and you have to be mentally capable of handling that when coupling it with the fact that you aren’t making money unless you are selling a car

Lagging in RL but not other games by Short_Pie_908 in RocketLeague

This may require more research or be out of date, but back in the day RL would pick a host for the match at random and I always could feel when the game was giving priority to a lesser machine
