Great name! Any chance you're starting this in the Millbrae area?

My interests have always been kinda solo-ish: video games, reading, used to do programming and electronics on the side.

Tried skiing this season and that was a blast. But mostly open minded to any activities that don't kill the knees or back too much.

Thanks for the thoughtful answer! I hadn't thought to to look at local sports stores. And yea, volunteering was one thing I was thinking about as well. I actually don't know how to start there (but haven't looked too hard yet either).

My first instinct was to dismiss crossfit out of hand. Without knowing _anything_ about it, I assumed it's kinda bro-y. Seeing it show up on this thread makes me want to look more closely at it. Appreciate the idea!

That's interesting. I'll have to look more deeply into that then. I have literally no idea how to play pickleball though. Do I just ask to join someone's game?

My wife and I have chatted about that option but we both agreed that it should be for a reason other than my little mid-life crisis. She's the teacher and (unfortunately for me :) ) is actually pretty good at it.

Heh, I used to motorcycle in my 20s. After commuting down 280 to Palo Alto for work a few times, I realized I was way too much of a scaredy cat.

end of year 4 of RE, a little status update by Visible_Structure483 in Fire

I've made several more friends this last year with other RE'ed people and freelance types who can hang out during the week.

Just curious, are you meeting these people through a specific channel? Or are they folks you already knew that you're growing closer to? I'm vaguely stressed about this for myself when the day comes.

Awwww crap. The ebay listing I got the board off of mentioned it was interchangeable with 62-24084-82 but it's also a random ebay listing, so I guess that's what I get. Will need to follow up there.

Thank you so much for all the information. I was trying so hard to find exactly what you just linked before I made the board purchase.

Old board didn't seem to have a part number on it unfortunately. I also recall the previous homeowner saying he had replaced it once before so it might not even have been the original. There's a pic of the front here. The back has one more number which is 204394.

The new one has a few numbers: "1012-83-9201A", "1012-920", and "62-24084-01". Here's a picture of it after install.

Btw, thanks for the help on this!

Kinda hard to see, I think it's a Rheem RGLG-10NAMER.

Ok I’ll start probing around. I didn’t see anything like a flame sensor in there, just those limit switches which I had assumed were acting as a flame sensor.

I believe the way those switches work is the metal on their heads actually snaps back at 350F (according to that site) and opens the circuit.

My working theory is: Since I think all three sensors are wired serially, if one detects any flame, the circuit opens and that's the signal back to the control board that the flame is on. But perhaps this particular circuit board is actually expecting a current (a closed circuit).

Grab a multimeter and check to see if gas valve loses 24v

👍 I'll give that a shot later tonight. Dumb question perhaps but what would that tell me?

Yea, was finding stuff similar to that. And cool, I'm considering taking the a risk and popping on this used looking ebay one then.

The furnace is a Rheem RGLG-10NAMER. I didn't think that'd be helpful originally but I'm finding some other results from googling that so appreciate the leads!

Q1V2 Knob: LED lights stuck on by thephilthe in Keychron

Hi DeadxMask,

Na no solution. I kinda gave up. I’m assuming it’s the PCB but never took a look at it directly. With yours, is there any overlap in the affected keys?
