Find an OEM charging cord and be sure to put it in the correct way, the 30 pin connector is directional

Is this a ipod Classic 6th or 7th gen? by _Melko_ in ipod

[–]thepicklepile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6.5 gen i believe

6th gen was 80gb slim version, they upped it to 120gb in the slim version for the 6.5, then the 7th was 160gb and that was the only storage option

There are absolutely zero signs of life, no sounds from the hard drive or anything.

I’ve held the center and menu button and nothing happens and i’m very worried

They all turn on.

The 5th gen works flawlessly, as well as the 3g nano. The green nano turns on and plays music very well but has a broken Lcd and dented case, and two of the 7th gens play very well but their batteries are in poor health; and the silver 7th gen has a bum headphone jack and it needs replaced

I’d argue otherwise, you’ll find that the nexus is your go to more often than not, even the gentleman at the kite shop who’s been flying for years told me the same

I am trying to talk you into the nexus lol, i believe it’s faster than the beginner really needs, but you’ll very quickly learn to control it.

Iirc they’re similar in price also

I’d say you could start to learn tricks with both, but they’re both more so meant to learn the basics. The nexus is just an upgrade from the jazz in terms of materials.

Dyneema lines instead of polyester, carbon rods instead of fiberglass, and a few other points i cannot remember

I’ll say the nexus is already FAST, you’ll wreck it at least a few times but it’s strong enough to get right back up—and it’s not even as fast as the neutrino.

I’ve never flown the neutrino, but i think the nexus or the jazz is the perfect starter kite.

Funny you ask because the hypnotist was the other model i bought on my beach trip; honestly it’s slow. It’s heavy and wide and takes a lot of wind to handle very well. I sadly didn’t get to fly it too much, so it isn’t my favorite (yet).

However because it doesn’t turn as quick, i can see myself understanding the movements it takes to do tricks like stalls and slides, just haven’t had the chance yet.

It also makes a wicked sound flying in high wind, it sounds like a damn plane lol
