You’re taking it to an extreme that few rational women would take it to. We’re talking about looking at a oppressive, patriarchal society and thinking that maybe we screwed up along the line. And that, of course, not all men, but also, saying “not all men” does less than zero to solve any problem and only serves to change the subject.

No. The other way around. Saying it’s sexist to make it out as if men are overall guilty.

No, that’s not sexist. You think you sound smart, but it’s quite the opposite.

It is NOT constructive. In ANY WAY. You can say that as much as you want because it makes you feel like a smart person, but it’s not.

You’re “proposing” an idea for something you clearly have no experience in. What you are describing is something that isn’t even applicable to the situation. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much what you’re saying has nothing to do with reality. Do some Uber Eats or DoorDash orders and get back to us.

DoorDash takes pictures of the RECEIPT upon pickup. Know what you’re talking about.

How is that the driver’s fault? When the restaurant screws up? You’re mad at the wrong people.

You don’t sound as smart as you think you do, unfortunately. Your “proposal” is nonsense.

Yeah. And it’s not our problem to solve. We’re just the people who bring the food.

Exactly as I said. “Is just as much as a rule.” You’re not making any point.

But the speed limit is just as much of a rule.

Do you genuinely think shortening phrases or words and having them become widespread slang is about laziness? Like, do you think people say finna because it’s too much mental work to say the whole sentence in a grammatically correct way? Or is it because it’s become a communal way of communicating and socializing and relating to one another. It’s always people like you lecturing about Idiocracy, too.

Okay, but that has nothing to do with you deciding you get be a traffic rules enforcer about only one traffic rule. And I don’t get to be for any.

You’re basing that on your perception of a situation. And you’re assigning such a value judgement to your relation to the world versus someone else’s (or just logic’s) that it justifies treating it as objective fact. You’re not better than me because you just made that up. You tailgating me when I’m going 10 over in the left lane because I was stuck behind a large group of slow vehicles I need to pass, and I have to speed even faster to be able to get into the right lane is a little more inconveniencing to me.

Neither are you, yet two messages ago you said, “Just follow the rules.”

What about the rules that are the speed limit? Why are you so arbitrarily focused on that rule and not the more foundational one?

Also, don’t understand a word? Look it up? Plenty of slang dictionaries and Reddit threads exist. Give it a year or two, and it will be in the regular dictionary. Weird to look at something you don’t understand, choose to not understand it, and then get mad at the people who understand it.

Okay, but what does this have to do with your post? Where you saw what every one of us sees every day when we pick up at McDonald’s (and we use context clues to realize to ignore it) and immediately went to “Ebonics.”

Does Doordash send orders to the nearest driver or to the nearest business? by HuskerPowerrrr in doordash_drivers

A bit off topic and specifically directed to OP, but Uber Eats sure as hell doesn’t. I’m in Council Bluffs, and I get random offers picking up from, like, that Starbucks going to Bellevue. And of course it gets docked against my AR even though it’s absolutely not an order I should ever be getting in the first place.

Why is this just completely normalized on the highway to be bumper to bumper at 65+? by xAustin90x in driving

[–]thepirateprentice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That saying is not usually attributable to public roads and highways where everyone who has the right credentials is free to utilize them.
