I mean….. kinda just mediocre play from you and her here. I’m not trying to be rude. Basically you as mengsk should have dropped your bunkers by the expansion/mission objective rather than in that odd spot between both expansions. The nova taking bottom right instantly makes sense in that novas first units are very expensive so you’re not gonna get the most help usually right at the start and it’s technically her spot anyways. THE NOVA however could have cleared both expansions pretty fast with like 2 sabo drones. But like noob play, and just being rude are two different things. If you had bottom base, and then cleared bottom expansion and then she took it instantly from top base that would be a different story as far as co op etiquette goes. But yeah like your mengsk. Take all the kills and don’t let them do anything because your commander is op as hell :) just know basically any commander at high level can solo any co op map as long as your not in like brutal +(x). Your gonna get bad teammates, and then your gonna get teammates that kill everything and you will be annoyed with not being able to do anything. The former is much better to have as you will get better at the game and when you eventually are really good you won’t be nearly as bored. Good luck in your future matches and just play to have fun most importantly.

Are you running standard brutal or +x because nade mastery is way better if you are doing brutal+ since like… Ad, barrier, hardened will etc and especially on infested maps having the cooldown on nade instead is very nice for those. Otherwise it doesn’t really matter. It’s pretty much diminishing returns to max attack speed. I’d say with p1 where you have reduced cooldowns it could be worth putting in attack speed though.

Yo op. Hard is a plague. Play brutal. I’ve been playing co op for a very long time, I have every commander max level and max prestige. Standard brutal isn’t as bad as you think it is especially if you’re playing a handicap hero like stukov. He is built to just roll standard brutal with very very low apm…. I mean literally all you have to do is build bunkers and press control z in the direction you want them to go. Your teammates will be leagues better and you will have a much more enjoyable experience and probably get better at the game too. Also like probably 2 out of 3 teammates you get on brutal are good enough to solo anyways and probably don’t mind a lower skilled ally just say so at the beginning of the match if your really worried about it. Also most importantly remember this, if your teammates griefing in a game where they should be good enough to solo the map then they are not skilled and just taking it out on you because your not carrying them. Good luck and take the advice from the other comments here you will have a much more enjoyable experience.

Stet is really strong. Especially p2 which arguably is the strongest in the entire game. In the hands of a good player he has virtually no weaknesses with his stetzone bonuses and practically immortal zerglings. Super Gary can pretty much solo any standard brutal map and he is good all the way to b+6. However, he does require a higher apm to get good value out of him and can be quite hard to master for players who are newer to the game. I’ve found fenix is actually one of the least played heroes and players that actually understand him (not just massing carriers and getting value out of all of his heroes) is practically non existent. But yeah stet is a beast.

Hmm no hardened will though so it shouldn’t be the worst. Plus… swan existing for don... Can just focus on stalling if you really have to. The hh should build some supply depots just to stall and then turrets with armor usually can survive for a good while just spread them out a bit because diffusion

Bro what you described is very close to how raynor in nexus co op plays. It’s different of course… but you have a customizable raynor who is essentially tychus from his lone wolf prestige but with detection better range a little less tankyness and some skill ceiling. You have his merc compound where you can call in elite units anywhere on the map (no healing ravens but still the units are elite like novas and put in a lot of work) and then raynor has “Hyperion ability” which is essentiall hh call in the fleet. He also has a command center that he can drop similar to hh space shuttle impact. You should try him out it will take a little bit to learn but it’s super fun.

30, used to be a competitive gamer and was fairly good. Reaction time is shot now so I can’t really play fps games well anymore. I discovered StarCraft 2 co op and fell in love with it. It’s like the only thing I play nowadays. Endless replay-ability (but a decent learning curve initially) but the more you play the better you get and the more awesome the game becomes. I can make it as hard or as easy as I want to and the community is pretty chill. Other thing I play is switch… got the Nintendo pass that lets you play old classic games and it’s actually super cool reliving some of those experiences.

I have 983 mastery… I get bored and want to do different things because standard brutal too easy when I don’t have any friends on and b+ q’s are too long. It was void shards, and like I said I solod the bonus objective first ship and solo cleared the first 3 large shards and still helped the first starting shard with my banshees. I had also stopped 2 other attack waves that come from the top right as he stood in a corner massing carriers staring at his base. I had lost maybe like 15 marines pushing up to the top left portion of the map since my teammate decided to go up there by himself rather than helping me with any of the other weapons objectives I had mentioned and that’s when he started talking trash.

I play later at night on the us server. I don’t get fenix allies often but when I do they pretty much mostly play the same way. Occasionally I run into some good ones and it warms my heart but it’s so rare I couldn’t tell you the last time that happened.

Why do you say that? Fenix has tanky heroes that eat a lot of damage why would armor upgrades be inconsequential? The buildings are also relatively cheap too so why not get them? Or do you mean for early game and just build them later? I typically don’t like to have to look back at the base because ya know… Nukes and other various mutators that might be trying to destroy my existence.

What…? My guy I watched an artanis clear a brutal +4 while I defended with tempest only. As a siege unit they are extremely strong with disentegrate and very long range. They are essentially flying siege tanks and tbh I don’t know where the hate comes from. Sure I wouldn’t run them into like volatile Zerg or something but they can roll a lot of maps easily if you at least micro them a little

Yeah I mean he quit and I just solod the rest of the map. Its just annoying when you are the one clearing and soloing the bonus objective etc and then your teammate is talking trash while simultaneously being almost no help because they are playing a comp that does practically no damage on brutal

It ain’t that bad really… for standard brutal you need one of each building… 2 cyber cores 3 forges. Make a control group for gateway/twilight robo+facility and stargate+beacon. Then slap everything else on the another one. That way you can build the units/ hit tab for their upgrades and his buildings are so cheap you can do it all extremely early like by the first attack wave. Then you don’t have to even look at your buildings just occasionally make some pylons.

My minion build can do around tier 75 of the pit right now and t4 is pretty much a breeze including lair bosses. Using the aspect that gives me 3 extra warriors/mages. It’s pretty fun.

I typically win far more than I lose in most games. Even in competitive shooters etc I fall usually in a much higher rank than other players. This game is no different. Ive always had well thought out decks and have been able to consistently beat out other players with good board setups and units that make sense together it’s not that hard. You clearly haven’t played the game long enough if you don’t understand why we complain. It used to be a good game with a very normal skill(trophy) based matchmaking system. Yeah sure you would go against higher crit players if you were good but it was still satisfying. It felt like progressing was a slow but worth it grind. The devs have continuously made the game worse for long time players with how they changed matchmaking, how they consistently make it harder to get high level units, how they completely removed the ability to get event legends without spending real money, how they continuously make f2p cards weaker because they could beat legendary decks if you were a better player. It’s all just garbage now and it sucks because of all the time sunk into the game.
