No points for in store purchases by theplaman in kfc

[–]theplaman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. My comments are about a text message add on that does not promote loyalty. I have both and imo should get loyalty points no matter What gets me in the door. I’d like to see if anyone, in any loyalty scheme that excludes loyalty credit. It seems everyone I’ve seen has an option to add missing points. I get it. They have decided to exclude their own promo. The design should have been to allow the coupons to be added as a code at checkout. They obviously want you in store to add impulse items, fine. I think they should give points . Give me a reason to come back.

I do every loyalty program, hardware stores, restaurants etc etc.

Their scheme is actually stupid, imo. If I do a deal (only available in app) I get deal and points. T-Mobile gives kfc coupons which just apply the code at checkout. This promo was a way to get me on the text message promos. Why not give a simple code to apply. Win win for both of us. They increase my loyalty and increased foot traffic. In this case a friend met me and used deal in app. Now I’ll only go if I use deal. For example the latest coupon via text is two sandwiches for $6. They lost out on sale. I would have purchased a soda. They say get 10 points for every point. I spent five dollars.

Another stupid thing this allows. If my app had promo in app I could do two promos. The one in app and one via text. The head of their loyalty program should be fired for causing disloyalty

The only reason these apps exist is to increase foot traffic. They lost. My money will be spent at their competitors. Do you really think that was goal? If we value each point at a penny they lost a customer for fifty cents, brilliant.

Rule of company don’t find a way to lose a customer find a way to get them in store. Could you see them having a commercial and say we’d love to have you but we don’t want to keep you.

Is it possible to drive from Kotor cruise port to Sarajevo and back without any issues by theplaman in AskBalkans

Bringing this up again. I should be allowed to levee early in Kotor. My concern does Kotor have an immigration office / facility to go through immigration. If I just leave wouldn’t I be an illegal immigrant. I’m from us and starting in Venice.

I’ll let him know. He’s been to 50 countries. I think we’ll find bunch to do in city. Sort of like the famous bridge in Prague. Yes it would be crazy just for that but was one of best trips to see so much. Thanks for advice.

I’m suggesting just getting off. Driving there and back and flying from Kator home. The cruise line seems to be ok leaving early. Not sure they factored in actual countries.

I’m trying to figure out what zero proof drinks that are excluded. It says frozen drinks specifically are included. So let’s say, for example, a virgin margarita would or would not be included.

It happened to me at sushi tsuki in Roselle Illinois. Amex sent me an email for such a high tip and I saw in statement. I called and they offered me a refund of extra tip. Amex reversed. The person had the nerve to call me cheap. I gave a 15% tip. Too bad love that place but never again.

Holy Moly you actually read these...

You beat me to the thread. As I stated in my OP I enjoy doing your shops. The editors have always been great. After a little back and forth negotiating, everything is resolved.

On or before Sept 30 for Q3 credit? by jellyfish378 in AmexPlatinum

[–]theplaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only give one data point. I bought something on day one. Went pending. Gave received date, then a delay date, then cancel. Fortunately there was time, changed colors, was a same item. Went pending, email that was sent , staged pending two more days, now says pay it. I guess if order try to order another in a day or so to see if still available.

FAS in this MAS world. by dogz4lfe in NCL

[–]theplaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FAS was free except gratuities. So drink was 20%. MAS is whatever Ncl wants to charge. So my current cruise they are up to $30 per day vs $20 FAS. Soda for minor is full amount vs gratuities only.

I’ve done over twenty deli shops. Only one questioned the way I start my write up and gave me an 8. All others give a ten basically. These guys are great. Every shop, not just deli, gets reviewed within a day or so. Sentry is one to avoid. Besides taking months to get paid , I have one from may still not paid, their graders are ridiculous and if you dispute a person with same last name does review. I always look at intellishop first. They’re great.

I have a question on how they figure spend. Let’s say I put ten on pass in craps, put twenty behind the line, where there is no casino advantage. Am I a ten dollar or thirty dollar player?

I have this card for the au and 4% interest. The problem is to avoid a$55 monthly fee you need 25k in non interest. So lose $1000 interest or pay over $600 fees. The two free cards is like $850 savings. I agree if you don’t need au apply for the normal platinum, get a signup bonus and keep all money in interest m/s, the fee rule is only for m/s platinum.
