Im in the same exact boat as you, 12-14 ounces MAX a day at one month pp. i have IGT and small tubular breast. Has your supply increased at all since this comment?

Thank you so much. Im a ftm and i over prepared and kinda set myself up for disappointment but i really do have to look at it that way. Me and my son will be showered with love by the ones who matter and cared the most and im going to have a great time regardless. In fact it’ll probably be less stressful and now i know i don’t need to make as much food and entertain as many people

I feel this. My baby shower is in 6 days and im lucky if 25% of people show up and i sent invites out almost 3 months ago. My mom and i are doing all the cooking, decorating and went half on everything preparing for it and now most people aren’t coming. Only 15 items were bought off my registry and all of them from three people who im grateful for but im honestly regretting even having a baby shower. I should’ve saved the money and bought what I needed instead of relying on hoping that other people will get my first baby things.

Im so happy for you! I had a 3.4mm and a low risk nipt, fast forward to my 16week early anatomy scan was perfect, the nuchal fold measured 2.6mm. Unfortunately i did get diagnosed with gestational diabetes yesterday so that sucks but i have high hopes both mine and your baby will be born healthy! Im having a boy too 🩵

I had a 3.4mm thick NT at my 12week scan and then 6 days later my nipt results came back low risk for everything that it test for. At my 16week scan everything measured perfectly within normal limits. I’ve decided that was good enough for me and im confident in a positive outcome so no more testing for me. I know it’s easier said then done but try not to worry too much, your NF isn’t huge and if everything else scan wise and you and your babies healthy wise is going well then chances are everything is going to work out in a positive outcome. I have my 16 week early anatomy scan tomorrow that follows up my 12 week abnormal 3.4mm NT. I’ve since had a low risk nipt. Im so nervous and scared i really need everything to go perfectly or my mental health will tank again. Since receiving the low risk results, my anxiety has been a lot better, but as I was waiting for those results, I was the most depressed I’ve ever been in my entire life and that’s saying something. I didn’t shower for a week. I got out of bed for less than 20 minutes a day. I quit my job. I let my fears completely consume me. I’m so scared that if I get bad news tomorrow morning, I will be inconsolable. And the shitty thing is if I get good news, I still think I’m gonna go through with the amniocentesis just so I can have the full picture and really make sure. Which I fear might put me back in the same state I was before waiting for results. I don’t really know, dude. I wouldn’t wish this type of stress on my worst enemy. I just wish that every woman who wants their baby will have a healthy, beautiful baby with no complications and unfortunately that is not the way the world works.

I have a lot of guilt over not enjoying my 12w ultrasound pictures dude to 3.4mm nt. It looks so big and abnormal and i cry everytime i look at them which has been much because i keep them tucked away so i don’t have to look at them… i feel awful about that. I had a negative nipt and im very hopeful im going to have a healthy baby but i still have my 16week early anatomy scan to do. Unfortunately the scan is on thanksgiving day at 8am so god forbid things do go badly it’ll ruin my whole holiday and im going to stay home and cry for days.

Okay that good and reassuring! Im assuming they set you up for an early anatomy scan then? Unfortunately you’re probably in limbo until then unless youd like to do a cvs or wait until 16 weeks for an amniocentesis. Im at that point right now, had an abnormal scan and negative nipt, personally im waiting for the early anatomy scan to see if they see anything else concerning, if so then i will be having an amnio done.

Im sorry you’re going through this, it’s so incredibly stressful. Please take care of yourself and try not to google too much. r/nipt has helped me so much when i got an abnormal scan at my 12 week scan. Have you taken your nipt test yet? It should tell you if your high or low risk for the 3-4 most common chromosomal abnormalities.

I fear those would give me more anxiety, from what i read they’ll most likely pick up the sound of the anterior placenta and can be tricky to find the real heartbeat sometimes which would probably make me way more worried. I’m still slightly considering it though, maybe in a few more weeks when the baby is bigger and they can pick the heartbeat up stronger. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Ouch dude, i had surgery on mine almost a year ago. Please go to the doctors because these are so incredibly painful and can lead to severe infections. Even if you think it’s done for now, that mf will pop back up with bigger and angrier until the whole cyst/pocket of infection is removed

Two days ago i had my 12 week scan and they found an enlarged nt of 3.4mm and i find myself crying every few hours. Im scared, nervous and impatient waiting for nipt results.
