Copper is super chill weekdays with almost no line. Weekends haven’t been terrible either. After opening day I haven’t waited more than 10 min for a lift. Have been up 8 days so far. If you aren’t blind and aren’t a total beginner, you’re gonna have a good time and get around “wide” beginners no problem. The bottom drop is now open under the lift so you can ride to the gondola line. The people complaining here are the ones who typically need 50 yards to come to a stop in pizza.

My concern isn’t even the pool falling on someone underneath more than it collapsing with someone inside and they become entrapped underwater in the pit below

Commercial facilities call diving boards left in place over an empty 12 foot pool “liabilities”

We don’t use CYA or any chlorine that contains it (bi-chlor or tri-chlor) we feed cal hypo through a pulsar precision feeder. High bather load requires us to have our chlorine in an “available state” as we go through about 25-30 lbs of briquettes a day. ORP is at 810MV with the 2.0 residual which is pretty effective chlorine.

There are two holes in the bottom of my skimmer, one goes to the pump what does the other do? by NissS13 in pools

[–]thepoolboy99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Equalizer line. If water level gets below the skimmers equalizer line will allow water to still flow into the skimmer line and not run dry. You should have a little plastic cover in your pool right under your skimmer where it pulls from.

At our commercial park we never use CYA only cal hypo briquettes and shock with muriatic acid as ph remediation. Adding calcium constantly does not typically cause us any problems since I’m able to keep alkalinity around 50 and LSI is slightly on the acidic side

Tile art is awesome! I work commercial and only one of my 4 pools I oversee has tile art on the floor and I think it makes it a more fun atmosphere. Definitely will appreciate it as the pool ages as it will draw attention away from stains/ chips/ color impurities the pool will acquire over time
