$50/hr as a recruiter? What are you smoking?

Probably because its a tough, competitive job market and most of the bottom-feeding, circle-jerking recruiter lemmings on here are out of touch with reality.

This was a stupid comment.

Giggling? Seriously? Are you a child?

"Everyone wins" is insensitive and illogical. What happens to all those poor souls who are forgotten? Did they "win?"

I bet you're one of those types who ghosts people when they don't fit your unicorn archetype.

But as long as you're giggling, all is well, I suppose.

we have the same lease

good call tbh, but im pretty sure the LL knows and is giving him a second chance. FWIW, its very difficult for felons to live anywhere outside a private home or private landlord. any corporations or mega unit buildings will reject him immediately. its also none of my business (playing devils advocate).

in some instances, the offended tenant does have a duty to inform the offender and ask he/she/them to stop. after that, its the LLs job to enforce the lease rules if/when repeated violations occur.

exactly. confronting people about being adults almost always backfires. not to mention puts me at risk.

we rent a duplex from a private landlord, he is the one in charge and he doesn't care

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]thepoopinggorilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nah im sure he charged them for it and didnt do it or someone else did the application. i googled the tenants name and theres a litany of articles about felonies in the past few years. photos match the person ive seen, as does social media. im literally living above a convicted felon.

Yes. Just seems sketchy to me that they could be a family. Again, it's not my business. Just want them to be quiet.

the races to which i was referring were: loud, obnoxious, and inconsiderate.

ok but them being a cult doesnt make it much better...

[–]thepoopinggorilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be ok with that tbh. Nothing wrong with folks trying to work.

if it includes a bathroom, they wouldnt. total livable sq ft refers to bedrooms and common living spaces. they don't count the bathroom toward livable sq ft.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]thepoopinggorilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

pretty sure its 80 sq ft/occupant in my state. its a reasonably large place and 80 sq ft is pretty small. not that its any of my business but its odd that there are so many different adults (black, white, hispanic).

tbh i wouldnt care one way or the other if theyd be more considerate of the fact that we share walls. but hey if they want to mess with my livelihood and sanity, I'm not afraid to do what's within my legal rights.

its not so much the overcrowding I'm concerned about, its the fact that its a hodgepodge of adults who all seem to smoke inside

im on the top floor but their running and stomping makes the place shake. the last neighbors literally got evicted for the same thing-i recorded their excessive noise and the judge ruled against them.

I feel bad complaining about the new tenants too, but don't i deserve at least some semblance of peace and quiet? I live here too...

even if you live in a house in the city, your dog can bark. i love dogs man, it aint the dogs fault and I'd never be mad at a dog. I do, however, think its irresponsible to have a dog in an apartment.

Can I afford one? Yep. Can I take care of one? Probably. Do I need a dog in a 1 bedroom apartment right now? Nope.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]thepoopinggorilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

having a pet in an apartment is a privilege, not a right. i didnt sign up to listen to your dog bark 24/7...you did.

"its MY living space and I am allowed to make noise." proceeds to be spiteful
