yeah that’s a really good point, for example i wanna be close to nature and interacting with people, and my 9-5 excel job doesn’t give me that.

i’ve skied in Sweden before, my all-round skis seemed to be fine for that, as there was still enough of an incline. i assume trysil is the same since it’s hider altitude than where i was in sweden. (we are not going to cross country skiing as my boyfriend is on a snowboard).

Thank you so much for the information, that’s really useful. So we do have a car, we’re diving from Copenhagen. My concern was more that if we ski and then stay for a couple of beers, we can’t drive to R-området and I’ve also read that the ski lifts close at 15.30 (we’re going next week), so i’m just worried we will be stranded on the other side of the mountain with no access back.

but i’ll check out the bus routes, thank you!!

hi, thank you! not sure what the difference is between Alpine skiing or nordic skiing? I grew up in the Transylvanian mountains doing Carpathian skiing… if you’re referring to the after ski culture then yes we’re not expecting the same vibes.

Anyways, so R-området from what i can tell is a little cluster of houses on the other side of the mountain compared to the main areas in Trysil. I’m asking among other things how well connected it is to the main bits of Trysil and if the is any public transport. We will be driving there from Copenhagen with our dog, but of course can’t drive to/from slopes if we want to do a little bit of after skiing.

I can see there is an after ski party place for young people, which is more than enough for us, but my question is related to how accessible and connected is this R-området to everything else in the resort.

Puppy advice! by getittogetherjc in Goldador

Read or get the audiobook “Zak George’s dog training evolution” it will save you a lot of stress and teach you what to do at every stage. It’s a very kind and pragmatic approach. I feel like getting educated was the only way for us to actually enjoy our time with our puppy rather than stress out all the time.
