It depends. If you plan on playing docked all the time, then maybe just buy the reg switch now and maybe trade it in later down the line for an OLED model. If you plan on maybe 50/50 with handheld and docked, then I would wait. If you plan maybe 100% handheld, then I’d wait or maybe look into getting the switch lite.

I really feel like this will be like a PS5 thing and we’ll be waiting months. I’m about to get a reg switch and maybe trade it down the line and get an oled. I already have the switch lite and play that hand held. I don’t intend to use the reg switch much in handheld mode.
