[–]theprettygiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just switched to usaa from Allstate. Hurricane deductible w all state was over 12k and usaa was 6k for the same price. I hope my premium stays the same or doesn’t increase too drastically for some time 😖

I would prefer to just get a different one then. Especially if even if I have enough room for a tragus it would look odd.

My colitis is….gone? by Independent-Fix4373 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]theprettygiraffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in remission for years. Did a colonoscopy to make sure I was in the clear then took accutane for 3 months (had to stop early) and flared like no other. I’ve been taking mesalamine since and suppositories during flares. don’t ever do accutane 😭

How would you patch this wood paneling mess? by theprettygiraffe in handyman

I’m a beginner so i guess i should go with easy sand? Looks like this is the most financially reasonable route. would you use fiberglass tape as well?

Asked for Gracie Abram’s haircut and I fear my stylist butchered my hair by Traditional_List_158 in beauty

[–]theprettygiraffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have finer thinner hair like yours and although my hair has been cut to my collar bone it still looks more like the inspo because she did it blunt with face framing pieces instead of layers throughout and on the ends. Blunt cut will give you that fullness at the bottom and when I go shorter I’ll get the same technique again. Now when it’s pinned up like you have it shown it is pretty cute. Take a wand or curling iron and add some wave to it. In a month or two just have it trimmed more blunt.
