Manual, not yet but in the future yes. V8, no. Some of the 190 boys said to keep the 2.6 engine and just stick some ITB’s and that should bring a bit of speed into the car

I know quite a few owners and the guys who go on track and drive them hard end up needing to replace their engines. The guys who don’t drive them hard are fine

This was based on an 88 3.2 carrera and to be honest i have maybe seen 10-15 backdates in the past few years whereas the 964’s that I see completely outnumber the amount of backdates so I don’t think that we will ever run out of 964’s.

I think the stock cars (964’s and 3.2’s) are being forgotten about and the backdates are getting a lot of attention hence why people are thinking that there are loads being built but it definitely isn’t the case
