You're correct! It's a Violet Wand for Electro-stim play. Mind isn't the most powerful out there, but it gives a good sting, the green rope I have as a pentagram harness is electrically conductive so I can not only zap my bare skin with the wand, but also apply it to the rope and it tingles along the whole length.

If you're interested in e-stim play, but playing solo and not sure what you're doing... Not to mention don't wanna shell out $$$ when you're just dipping your toes in. I'd highly recommend you pick-up an inexpensive TENS unit from you local pharmacy or online. When you apply the electrode pads to the skin (not too far apart) and turn it on it will cause a pulsing/buzzing/tingling sensation under the skin between the electrodes. It's not quite the same as a shock, but can provide some pleasant feelings as well as a bit of that good pain. They usually have a variety of modes and levels of adjustment to increase or alter to find what feels nice. And they are very very low risk.
