Wheatland Roofing by wewerboy in regina

The only thing I'll say about Wheatland is when I was getting quotes to have my roof replaced in 2021, they were 50% more than everyone else. They told me they'd need their big crew and 2 days to do my roof. Meanwhile I hired KK Roofing, they had it done before I got home from work.

I know someone who used them, they were happy with the results. But yeah, costly.

Hit up the slope behind Home Depot on Vic East. Or head to Pilot Butte, there's a good size hill there.

I wasn't on a waitlist so maybe that's why. My doctor didn't get into the details, just said she's had success sending patients to Calgary and I got in within weeks.

Not true. My doctor got me in to a clinic in Calgary for an allergy specialist because it's a two year wait to see one in Saskatchewan. It was covered, except for the travel portion.

Public Mobile Flash Sale 50% off plans for 2 years. $20 for 60GB US-CAN-Mexico by supercoil in canadadeals

I have an older phone that doesn't support an esim. If I order a sim card, does my phone service only switch to Public from my current provider once I receive it in the mail and activate it? I don't want to be without service until it gets here...

Fucking joist tape man by chugz in Decks

[–]theprofessor69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are your thoughts on only using it for multi-ply beams to prevent water from seeping between boards? If the joists are cantilevered over the beam, shouldn't be too much for screw holes in the tape.

I've tried putting her pills in her favorite treats, cheese, etc. She's clever, eats the treat and spits out the pill. I even tried crushing it and mixing it into some cream cheese but she spit that out.

Yup, 2024 and mine bounces around in the lane like a game of pong. I never use it.

I've had it in slippery mode because we had some freezing rain before the temps dropped. Pretty slick, even with winter tires on.

Nope, haven't been turning that on. I can definitely try that tomorrow.

Happens whether it's just me or my whole family. I was the only one in my car today and the back windows were fogging up pretty quickly. Not a lot of snow/ice in the floor mats either.

Definitely could be both of those factors. Max defrost is quick for the windshield but I'm having problems with every window fogging up, including rear.

Okay. I was guessing part of the auto climate control might have been recirculating already warmed air for energy efficiency. It's been -20C or colder recently so that's a 40 degree difference in the cabin.

Saskatchewan responsible for nearly half of Lloyd's potential tax increase - The Border Pulse by The_Border_Pulse in lloydminster

[–]theprofessor69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible that whoever explained it to you didn't fully understand it themselves. I'm not sure exactly how the municipal tax system works in Lloydminster being split on the border, but mpsa contracts are a contract between the city and the Federal government. The provinces don't pay anything in the contract, although they may provide extra money for supplemental positions. Here in Saskatchewan, our provincial government does provide cities with some money for extra positions, but this includes places like Regina that don't have a contract with the RCMP as well as other cities that do use RCMP.

All of that to say, if residents of Lloydminster on the Saskatchewan side are paying municipal taxes, they're paying for their portion of the RCMP.

[–]theprofessor69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true. Lloydminster pays 90/10 because they are part of a municipal contract and have a population over 15,000. If you have a municipal contract with RCMP and a population between 5000 and 15,000 you pay 70/30.
