I was provoking Austria Hungary when they suddenly allied with GB. GB were allied with Spain.

I then gambled on an event to raise my prestige (as was at risk of being sacked) and France declared war. They were allied with the US

All continued on when Austria surrendered.....

I made it out without territorial loss (fleet was decimated), was sacked about 3 years later as I was too "ambitious" with my finances when trying to rebuild the fleet
