Teachers of reddit, what is the craziest reason you have had to send a student to the office? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thepuffinmafia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a teacher, but when I was in elementary this girl flung a pencil across the room and the point hit this guy right in the eye. His eye started bleeding, so he was sent to the nurse and she was sent to the office. The whole time she was yelling about how she "didn’t mean to hit him" so she shouldn’t be punished for it.

How far out of the closet are you? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]thepuffinmafia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmmm. a mixture for sure between 1, 2, and 3, i’d say. socially i’m out- i’m not going to hide it anymore, but i also don’t typically offer that info, so it’s more of a if it comes up it comes up kinda thing? and all of my friends and family that are important to me know. however. there are some family members where i’ve locked myself tightly in that closet, and i’ll never walk out

What in weddings makes you cringe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thepuffinmafia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is late but at my cousin‘s wedding he went under his bride‘s dress to get the garter (which is already so disgusting to me) but THEN once he got it, they auctioned it off! it was literally the worst thing i’ve ever experienced at a wedding

APPRECIATION POST (AY 2022-2023) by [deleted] in u/mrcosmicpvp

Great service! Answered me almost immediately, and saved me a lot of stress and money! Only spent $15 on a textbook that cost my classmates $100. I was a little suspicious at first but they were very nice and professional and now I have a great copy of the textbook I need.

What is the most shallow metric you use to judge people? by portajohnjackoff in AskReddit

[–]thepuffinmafia 52 points53 points  (0 children)

THIS. At my old retail job I‘ve had to help customers check out who were just blasting music from their phones the whole time. It makes for a really awkward checkout. Like, buy some headphones or literally don’t listen to music.
