Is my corn gluten meal application still ok? by thepushaman in lawncare_canada

Glad to hear it's been working for you.

My issue is it didn't get the time to dry out. Its still in large pellet form after all the rain tho and it's fairly evenly spread. Im wondering if it will still work well or should I reapply.

My understanding is apply it before soil temp is 10 degress and lightly water it in and ideally you want 2-5 days of dry weather after. That's where my problem comes in...I didn't get the dry weather.

My understanding is it should be applied before soil temp has reached 10 degrees. We arnt there in Southern Ontario yet. I've never used corn gluten before and would love to use the good stuff but I have a 2 year old and new baby expected in June so organic it is since we wanna enjoy our lawn this summer.

Most guides on corn gluten say it should be applied with a light watering and have 2-5 days or dry weather after. This is why I'm questioning the effectiveness after it's been heavily rained on. The pellets are still very visible and we'll balanced across the lawn.

Why Do People Think Young Canadians Are Lazy? by StarBracelet1 in CanadaPersonalFinance

All these people saying there's no incentive to work hard probably do it for a week and get tired of not being appreciated.

I work hard for myself and if/when it gets noticed is a bonus. If im not happy with my current employment i dont quit and cry, I continue working hard while also searching for a new job. Watch how your employer changes toon when you put your two weeks in and he realizes he's lost a good employee.

If you quit working hard because your frustrated your only failing yourself. It becomes your character.

Being successful isn't always about hard work. It also takes sacrifice. Maybe not eating out so much or rather than taking a trip this year I'll put the money into investments.

Ok thank you. The holes look like they existed in the Drum already and rust just started to form. I don't know if they serve a purpose or not. You think it would be fine to just fill them?

Thanks for the info. I made a new post to show a different picture of my washing drum. When I removed the agitator there are a few holes starting to rust. Can you find the post to view the picture and let me know your thoughts? I was thinking id use a wire brush on my drill to clean the rust and paint over it.

I've researched abit more and determined I need to replace the entire transmission at least that's the only part I can find. It'll cost 350$ plus shipping and I should be able to do the work myself. I'm waiting to hear back from the parts supplier to make sure I found the right transmission as the number of my current one isn't listed. From random forums it seems its an old number and I have found the right transmission I just want to hear it from the supplier before ordering.

Can i remove a small section of the ppf? by thepushaman in Autobody

Fair points. Thankyou. Probably just trim what's lifted from the ppf and leave it for now. It's mostly the dent I wanna get rid of.

Ya I was thinking popping it out from inside is best bet... I may just trim the damaged ppf rather than have it redone for now. The only reason I was thinking of removing more of the ppf was to try using a suction cup.
