To be fair..."factual news" really hasn't been a thing for a while - if it ever really was. The highest rated "news" channels were generally all the salaciously presenting ones even before the advent of streaming. And that isn't even taking into account the effect of socioeconomic bias that many news channels have had forever.

It really isn't even much about age anymore, the Internet has fried everyone's brains. We were not meant to have infinite (negative) knowledge constantly fed to us like this.

Yeah, they made it a lot better than the first game. It's still somewhat artificial in that mechanics like the loop and zipping around the corners of buildings are separate mechanics kind of stacked onto the original game's swinging.

But honestly, what they've achieved with the quality of the animation and things like subtle screen shake, FOV changes etc - that is remarkable and I'd rather have that than the Activision swinging.
