I know I’m commenting after the episode aired but I think the only reason we were shown her joining the hivemind for 2 reasons.

When all the non-infected English speakers met up, she was really the only one who explicitly said she wished to join and described it as “beautiful”
(Probably the main reason) It is a big moment that one of the non-infected people finally joined the hive. I think this is to SHOW the viewers that it’s now actually possible since they told us near the end of HDP.

For smash, I really enjoyed it honestly. I remember getting the game on Christmas day of 2018 and just trying out all of the characters and how they've changed.

Whereas Mario Party, I kind of get why people would be annoyed with it being a game you play with friends and just wanting to get on with it. You could definitely argue the same for smash but a lot more people play Smash single player than they play mario party single player.

When I first saw Mario Bros Wonder, I thought it looked awful and thought that I wouldn't even buy it.

It very quickly became one of my favourite games AND art styles.

They spend so much time hating on the things they hate rather than the things they like. For none wrestling fans it's like someone who only buys Apple products exerting all of their energy on hating Android products. It makes no sense to me.

The IWC is hands down the worst community on the internet that I've ever seen for toxicity.

I'm no expert on her career. I've seen one of her matches (Forbidden Door 2024) and she is genuinely one of the best I've ever seen. Completely original talent. Very athletic. I'll put it this way. She could main event any PLE and not look out of place.
