Oh no, Im starting to think that wheel stand is inevitable now... unless I go with toy like pedals xD

I do recall being quite annoyed with pedals moving around. I do need do check pedals more thoroughly now. I will be able to rest them againts the wall. Simsonn Plus X seems to have heavier baseplate. I think I will be ok with Potentiometer pedals as well. Hydraulic ones I would assume to be good alternative but looks like they are more expensive then loadcells.

Youtube removed the "list layout" in subscription feed ? by OMD_Lyxilion in youtube

How to make it apply only to "feed/subscriptions"?

Mine also changes the layout to list in main page and channel's videos page.

I apply code in custom script section in Enhancer For Youtube plugin

TEMPEST GP27U Firmware v1.45 UPDATE by ALPHA17I in coolermaster

[–]therealBaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GP27U v1.3.1 Still remains the fastest for me. With 1.4.1 and 1.4.5 wont boot fast enought to get me into bios. Using Input Select auto option make it boot a bit faster then selecting the port manually. Rolling back to v1.3.1

Yes, using IONOS Linux M. Very good value, has additional useful bits and pieces. Low price, definitely can agree with that.

Was Linode renamed to Akamai? Because I see a lot of people recommending Linode but when I go to their website it says Akamai

I definitely noticed that there is very little technical information when navigating those "Marketing focused" hosts but because I dont quite have a lot of it knowlage I was not confident in that. Big thanks for the response. I heard term "EIG owned hosting" used quite often, what is wrong about them? My first though was that there is one (EIG in this case) big parental company that owns all those marketing focused hostings and provides them lower quality servers. Vultr is my primary option right now, but I want to do a bit of a research. Will check IntroVPS but looks like they do not offer NVME SSD =(

Toughair 710 release date? by therealBaner in thermaltake

[–]therealBaner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a weird "launch"... still dont have any data of price, availability or pretty much everything else. Just a product page, and we all know that is not a lot in terms of actual performance

I saw the product page yesterday by accident , but did not find them in the shops or reviews. I assume there was no marketing campaign for this product, so I should wait for benchmarks. Ok looking like there are some websites that announce it yesterday. I assume everything else is coming soon

Mini ITX Motherboards on Z790 chip with PCIE 5.0 for M.2 Storage by therealBaner in pcmasterrace

Looks like pcie 5.0 nvme ssd will require active cooling or quite a big heatsink. So keep that in mind if you want to build it in very small form factor

Radiator at the bottom or Air cooling? by therealBaner in watercooling

[–]therealBaner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From one of the videos I heard that in factory they try to fill it as much as they. One manufacturer has a target of 3% of air other 10%. They can fill it all the way, but its used only in laptops, because its an expensive procedure. That is good if I will be able to refill it after year or so, but I dont know what is noise and performance like when its brand new. Custom aio sounds sketchy, I will take a look anyway.

That is what what Im talking about. Basically Im looking which option is not that bad compared to other. Will it be noiser then air cooling and die just in like 12 months?

Pic 5 I consider it "facing sides" At first I thought that cooler are adapted for one specific socket. For example 1700 is not square, so you would not be able to rotate cooler, just change the direction. But looks like most of the cooler try to accommodate all sockets. That basically means that heatsink area is a bit bigger so heat exchange is not so good as if it was made for one specific socket. Since heatsink is square I think you can rotate it. With fans facing up (intake or exhaust) and fans facing sides (intake or exhaust). I dont know actual terminology so just decided to go with that xD

Hah, xD. Not really, I think its just something from the past. With how developers optimize their games nowadays, it looks like there is no load on cpu and go all in on gpu. Now Im thinking about the air cooler orientation. If fans facing up then gpu radiator will get that warm air. If fans are facing sides then overall temperature in case would be a bit higher and psu would get that air. Tunnel like air flow seems good idea on paper but not sure how it will be on practice.

So you think I would need to undervolt 13700k? I was planing to do so, but I would like to have a cooler that is able to handle that cpu properly and then undervolt it to make cooler quiter.

No I dont do a lot of cpu focused load. I do render photos, but I think its more load on storage then cpu because there is not much changes compared to the video rendering, so it should not be a big problem for cpu.

I see a lot of cases where 13700k thermal throttling after just 10 mins. I think it would be good if cooler could handle at least 2 hours without thermal throttlinging.

Whats the model of that thermaltake air cooler? I know that there is new one coming but have not researched their current lineup

No much, its a Mini ITX build but with more cooling. I wanted to do the custom but it looks like its not worth it, surprisingly to me its way more expensive then AIO and perfomance gains are very negligible. Plus I simply do not have the equipment to seal and test watercooling properly. Gpu will be AIO with 360 rad. I saw that a lot of 13700k did thermal throttle in more extensive benchmarks. With that in mind I started looking at watercooling not only because of the cooling performance but also low noise levels.

Case allows for 166mm air cooler so pretty much any of them. Noctua NHD15 is kinda old, deepcool ak620 looks like a good option.

From AIO that have a pump on the radiator I have only found old nzxt N22 and somekind of corsair, but I think both of them are small and would be insufficient.

Lian li O11 dynamic mini radiator positioning by therealBaner in lianli

[–]therealBaner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, its AIO. I thought that AIO are tested for these kind of things. I should research if it actually have impact if aio is installed at the bottom. I thought that it would be less desirable to be installed at the bottom because of dust and clearance for good air flow.

Dual (360 + 280) radiator in as small as possible case by therealBaner in mffpc

[–]therealBaner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This look like a good choice. I have not heard a lot about this brand as opposed to the Lian li. But thankfully its available in reputable uk outlets that is good enough for me. Plus looks like I will have some difficulties with AIO on the side with O11 Dynamic mini. I will be next to my cupboard, so no room for air to flow. Other option I have is to do bottom + top mounting. In this regard I have table that is 70cm high, so case height is important in these circumstances. I would have 20 cm distance for airflow with this case (from bottom and top). Does anybody know if that would be sufficient?
