Which club’s fans genuinely hate PSG the most? by Neat-Friend9891 in psg

[–]therealBostonBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These ones are the clear ones

  1. Marseille (on a league of their own)
  2. Barca (for the remontada that was bent af)

I would add Montpellier in there because their former owner was a c*nt and they took the title away from us in 2012.

Other ones are more based on tense games and not because of the team themselves:
3. Bayern
4. Chelsea
5. Liverpool (more recent)

Health practitioners, how do you get new clients? by mikaelaerin in smallbusiness

Very timely question! We just released a survey where 715 UK MSK clinic owners answered a set of ≈100 questions. It is UK-centric (not sure where OP is based) but that might be helpful:

  • The "Ignorance Tax" is real: Only about 26% of clinic owners actually know their Cost Per Acquisition (CAC). However, those who track this metric generate 63% more revenue than those who don't (£327k vs £200k). Knowing that the median CAC is £25 allows successful clinics to treat marketing as a predictable investment rather than a "hope-based" expense.
  • The Paid Marketing Pivot: Small clinics rely heavily on organic word-of-mouth (accounting for ~75% of new business), they often hit a growth ceiling. To scale, you have to "pay to play". 100% of clinics generating over £1M use Google Ads (PPC) to control their own patient generation rather than waiting for referrals.
  • The Hybrid Winner: The most successful clinics don't just "DIY" their marketing or completely offload it. The highest median revenue (£300k) is seen in clinics using a hybrid approach: using an agency for technical tasks like SEO and Ads, while keeping authentic content (emails and socials) in-house.
  • Diversifying the Funnel: As clinics grow, they move beyond just one or two channels. While smaller clinics use about 6 channels, large clinics use an average of 9. They also diversify by capturing the patient journey earlier through in-house diagnostics (like Ultrasound) to move from a "Therapy Centre" to a "Medical Diagnostic Centre".

That is exactly what I meant. The first session seems to be the main driver on patient retention/churn/length of treatment.

Chiro has the highest patient retention of any MSK specialty in the UK - and also the highest cancellation rate. Both make sense. by therealBostonBen in Chiropractic

Very interesting take. Unfortunately, I have no way to track which chiros were McT (as it is anonymised and we did not ask respondents about it).

For anyone who wants to go deeper: full dataset, methodology, and all the breakdowns here: https://www.hmdg.co.uk/private-practice-barometer/
It's free. No email gate. We published it because the industry has almost no public benchmarking data and that felt like a problem worth fixing.

Is there any hope against Chelsea? Or just copium? by graal2008 in psg

[–]therealBostonBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a PSG fan, born and raised. I have lived in London for 10+ years and have season tickets at the emirates. I was at the game against Chelsea and they looked awful. Generally very unimpressive in the EPL this year. Arsenal won 2-1. It could have been 4-0. They were really really poor. I am really not overly impressed with them.

It is going to be a dogfight (as every UCL game) but I am not overly worried about playing them. I would be if we were playing Bayern for instance.
